TGIF, its Friday! Have an adult drink with us and a snack to unwind from the week. Just a laid back NS, friends and kittehs. I am watching some old shows I had DVR’d this week. I am oncall this weekend @ the hospital and I already know I will be going in tomorrow. I am gonna turn in early and get up and go do some paperwork followed by my time at the hospital. Hope you stop by and say hello!

I could go for a KOTSW. I took today off, did stuff and got to be with the kitties, yay! Hoping to get my stupid phone fixed but they can’t come out here till next week. Oh well, I’ve got my cell.

Hi Joan! (MC, I’m guessing you’re not here, but if so, hi!).

I just posted an adorable video of a baby deer & its mom & a curious orange cat in a separate thread, if anybody needs a cute fix 🙂

I definitely needed a cute fix; I’m super frustrated with the new job and don’t know how to go about finding another position 🙁 I know everyone says it’s easier to job hunt when you have a job, but when? And how? I just know I need to get out of the news biz, NOW.

Sorry things are tough on the job front. Since I wasn’t in today, if I did something wrong, I don’t have to hear about it till Monday.

Hi AV! It’s frustrating, because working with the guy who used to be at CNN is awesome, but otherwise the job sucks. They have zero idea what a news researcher actually does (and they pay accordingly). Plus, like I said, I just need to get out of the news biz.

Still, I’m stashing away every penny they’re paying me, on top of my severance payments, and I still have 4 months before those run out.

Can I just say that the site zooborns.com is deadly? I was just led there by a post on another site & I may never leave *faint* There are pics of the new baby clouded leopards at the Point Defiance Zoo in WA & they are ADORABLE.

Kilroy, I’ve been to the Point Defiance Zoo several times over the years when visiting my in-laws in Tacoma,WA. Might have to go again this summer if we visit and see the leopards.

Evening all, did someone mention KOTSW? I’ll have a pitcher please. Spent the morning with Mother at a garden centre and now I have more plants to plant out tomorrow. Pansies and poppies, they will be a lovely splash of colour this winter.

Hi Deb, I’ll save you a pitcher of KOTSW for after w**k. I hope tonight isn’t too crazy.

This morning was lovely but a bit nippy. I don’t know why we didn’t go into the garden centre cafe and get a coffee. We had sun and rain today, weird Autumn weather. I’m just trying to decide if we’ll have a fire this evening. It would be nice for Mr MS who has been working outside all day.

Jan, I would go with the fire too. I love fires but never could have them as its really hard for me to breathe when using wood, oh well.
