I thought we needed a seperate thread for all of the wonderful pumpkin, apple, squash flavors of autumn desserts. I am going to put JK and Dee’s Butternut Squash Indian Pudding from the Fave Veggie Recipes thread.

Loooove Indian Pudding in the fall and it sounds deeelish with butternut squash. Let’s see some more autumn desserts !

Great idea Krazikat! I love apple crisp!

5 to 7 c. sliced apples

1 c. flour

3/4 c. sugar

1 tsp. baking powder

3/4 tsp. salt

1 unbeaten egg

1/4 c. butter, melted

1/2 tsp. cinnamon (or more)

Place apples in bottom of greased baking dish. Mix first 5 ingredients with fork until crumbly and place on top of apples. Pour cooled, melted butter over top and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake 30 to 40 minutes in 350 degree oven.

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a mug of hot apple cider, yum!

Amazing JK!!! Looks so simple that even KJ could not ruin it. Plus that lovely chocolate cake mix has kosher certification and ginger ale with same easily available. Very nice.
