catface had the man flu last week, n now i caught a lil of it. thankfully im not as bad as when i had that aweful two week sore throat,and am ok enough to work. anyway, feel better KM! soemtimes moving to a new climate or country can hang u for a real loop, as even though i’m sure u were vaccinated and whatever, the viruses and other germs floating around one area can be different in another.

Arcalian, Latvia is very nice, thanks. Love the weather. Its sooooooo nice to be in a country that has real seasons. In the winter its cold with “real” snow and in the summer it’s very hot.
I’ve been feeling much better this afternoon, although I can’t speak properly. My voice is a squeaky whisper at the moment.
Again apologies that the site hasn’t changed server yet, I’ve copied all of the site files over and a copy of the database taken last night (which holds all of the posts and the forum) to make sure that its all working smoothly. I’ve spent most of this afternoon making edits as there were certain punctuation marks and letters (predominantly the letter é) which were showing up as ? and I wasn’t going to make the move until it that was working. There are so many café threads that were appearing as caf?, it just looked ugly.
I’ve moved the smaller TDK sister sites over today (http://catsinsinks.com http://randomkittengenerator.com and http://kittenwar.com ) and the changes with the name server for me took 4 hours, so fingers crossed thats the kind of time scale we should be looking at that the site will be down 🙂
I won’t do it until 9/10 GMT as the site is now at its most active (it’s morning now for the majority of you I would imagine). Thanks for bearing with me and being supportive. You guys really are the best.

I missed the snow this year, we are already in the full swing of spring here. While I don’t want to wish the summer away I can’t wait to see Freddy and Smokey dealing with and playing in real snow.

Wow KM, just reading about all the site work nearly crashed my poor brain LOL. Missed Winter? Sounds a bit like an oxymoron to me, again LOL. I’m thinking that Latvia might be on the same latitude as Canada. Weather sounds very similar, and I’ve heard that our weather closely resembles that of Russia for this reason. Same part of world. BTW do you speak Latvian? If not can you get by w/English? I’d imagine that Mrs. KM is fluent in Latvian.

So glad you are feeling better and glad you have both moved to a place that has “seasons”. You are SO thoughtful. We here at TDK are very fortunate to have you as our KM. Thank you and bless you for ALL you do for us and our site and for joining in with us too. I love that you join in on the threads and our conversations as well! COOL! You are surely a special guy!

Well not being here for a while I guess I missed all the news. I really missed stopping by every day but the site ran so slow it was irritating to post then wait 30 seconds to load. Today I assume everything has been changed to the new server because the site is running much faster. As a computer guy myself I know what it takes to move servers, so THANKS to KM for all the work.
