Great breakfast…I will have a little bit of everything…I have brought some kittens from the TDK kitten agency, I don’t want Polly to get overworked or to have fights break out !!!

I would love a virtual crispy bacon sandwich and a cup of strong tea.

Goodness, Pollys_Mum – no idea what grits are (is?)! My guess is that you have never visited the Southern states here in the US! Grits are a course ground white corn meal, or they can be ground from hominy which is like an overblown white kernal of corn. In the South it’s a traditional breakfast dish and it sort of resembles thick cream of wheat. You eat it with butter, and if you’re lucky, red-eye gravy which is just the pan drippings left from cooking ham. If nothing else we Southeners know how to clog those arteries! Grits, a fried egg and a biscuit with sausage gravy… oh, my – delicious! And also guaranteed to probably add three pounds to the reading on the scale by the very next day! It’s Southener comfort food for breakfast!

LOL Polly’s Mum – I have actually eaten grits, and I still didn’t know what they were! No offense to our Southern TDKer’s, but I did think they were pretty yuk! But then I don’t like oatmeal or porridge either – eeewwww!
