    Did you know that the original story of the Invisible Man wasn’t a story about someone who was invisible? It was a story about racism and how it made the character feel as if he was invisible to the rest of the world.

    Very powerful story, I read it a few years ago.

    I was watching Project: Runway last night (I got sucked in!) and I noticed something. The male host of the show, Tim Gunn, looks just like Anthony Stewart Head – the guy who played Giles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

    It’s like Giles has a gay, fashionable twin.

    I just found it amusing. I’m going go back to my normal day now…

    You’ve never totally recovered from that first bout of sickness have you, Instinct. Is it possible you didn’t get treated quickly enough, or maybe didn’t have the right meds? I know ear infections-had them all the time as a kid. That’s why I can’t stand anyone to touch my ears or neck.

    Hope you get to feeling better soon. Don’t let it go too long, ok?

    Yep, that is true. But in a show of solidarity my nephew has a double ear infection too.

    He’s 2 1/2 and the only reason anyone knew he was sick was because he just didn’t seem as happy as he normally is. No crying or fussing at all. Doctor said the kid’s got the highest pain tolerance he has ever seen.

    We are a tough bunch 🙂

    I don’t think I did MMM. The doctor I saw this time said it’s a fungal infection so I guess I have to do the antibiotics to get the swelling and stuff down, and then they clean out the ears or something

    thanks Dorie! I will let you know if it’s not! I don’t drink or like the taste of liquor so if it’s spiked I’ll know right way!

    Keep those fingers out of your ears, Instinct. 😉 Sorry you are not feeling well. I know all about ear infections as I use to get them a lot as a kid. I would get one just from the wind blowing! Hope you heal quickly.

    I am laughing right now! My niece has 2 wire light up reindeers on her front lawn!! Well someone moved them last night into ummmm ahhhhh an interesting pose! Oh and ruldolfs nose is now blinking!! I don’t know if I should call her about this or just keep laughing!

    What did you say Karin? NOOOO, I would never stick my finger in my ear. Wouldn’t fit. 🙂
