lol that dosso painting is funny. back in that era, they prolly did smoke all kinds of wierd crap. 🙂 still trying to figure out what is on his head. it’s neatly turban like, but not quite. love the button art too!

@jeankit (did I say that right?) I just want to say Thanks! for starting such a cool thread. I haven’t been on a lot lately (need to fix that: I need my kitten fix!) so this is the first time I’ve seen it. Will definitely be coming back to catch up and look at all the amazing art!

About the purry artist: Albert Anker (1831-1910) was one of Switzerland’s most popular 19th century genre painters. Born in Ins, his father was a veterinarian, thus giving Albert an insight into and compassion for animals.

I could see myself walking into Montreal’s Cat Café as Café Chat Heureux in dress with matching sneaks and pussycat eyeliner (which actually is my look on everyday basis). Would certainly draw attention if not end up in a camisole de force (the pretty French term for 4-point restraints). Have to check out dress link! Tks JK – even for the very idea of said dress!

Oh well…at least we can count & discern a cat as a triangle…but not a triangle is a cat…LOL!

Oh, I think I see it. If you count each foot as 1, and also as 3, you can also count another 1 as 2 triangles instead of 3 inside the larger one. Gaaa, I feel like I’m back in math class!

I bailed out on the triangles! (But love the pic featuring sea-faring kits). The former set off flashbacks of Mr. L’s geometry class, the one when he threw the pink and grey text at me and just missed my eye by that much. 🙁 I will probably recover in a moment or so LOL.
