Afternoon all, it’s 20C(68F) here and overcast and feels quite nippy so anyone wanting cooler air just ask and I’ll do and exchange for warm air.

Monday is going slowly here, the schools are back in after a two week break and the neighbourhood and roads are quiet. Bliss

Now we can go back to the malls without being surrounded by tween and teens and running littlies. (shudder)

Hi MS! Do the kids go to school year ’round?

I would gladly share some of the rain that’s coming down out there; looks like Mr. K & I are spending my weekend inside, which is OK by me.

Hi all! *waving* Sorry I’m not around much lately.

Hi Kilroy! It’s a purple rainboots night! For me it’s a night for my big black “Dark Shadows” raincoat with the giant hood. However, I’m perfectly happy in my Hello Kitty robe.

Joan, were you a Dark Shadows fan? I just saw that Jonathan Frid died, which is sad because the movie version of DS is coming out soon & he had a small part.

OK, this isn’t a kitty but it’s so stinkin’ cute I couldn’t resist

Joan, the kids go to school from Feb to mid/late December with 3 two week breaks in April/July/September. Our school year starts Feb and ends December when Summer starts.

Evening all!…… had a nice afternoon walking 9 holes with Mr. AV then a BBQ with friends and fun!……………. Abby was SO mad at me cause I didn’t give her the ‘crunchies’ when I left for golf, cause she hadn’t finished her ‘wet’ food breakfest!……………… she has definitely been the hardest of my two to convert to wet! 🙁

Sorry I disappeared Joan but KK has answered for me. With no children at school I only notice the holidays when the neighbourhood becomes noisy and the malls no-go areas.

Japanese tsunami flotsam starting to wash up on the other side of the Pacific now. Recently it was a fishing trawler and now . . .

Evening Deb, I have a confession. We lit the fire tonight for the first time this year. It was very nippy and seeing as the chimney was all clean there was nothing to stop us and we gave in happily. Have you put your AC on yet?

I like the cheezburgers. My late inlaws did the Australian wildflowers tour some years back, they said it was totally stunning.

Evening Jan, I have a confession too, yes I did turn the a/c on when it hit 100F outside and 86F inside. Very warm to say the least outside. Supposed to be a lot cooler though by this coming weekend, go figure.

He he he, too hot or too cold are unpleasant and that includes my coffee I made an hour ago and haven’t drunk because it’s out of sight behind my laptop lid. DOH! Off to re heat it.

Wish that they had put up more pictures of the wildflowers though, the one they did put up were awfully pretty.
