Well, my dears, I must finish my “homework” for my quilting class today. We are learning how to make quilts whose blocks use curves instead of straight lines. This is the book we are using: http://www.sewthankful.com/CrazyCurvesBook.html

I have 3 cats and a snuggly dog to cuddle but they might like a break and I’d like an agency kitten or two–no kittens here. In fact some sources say they are all seniors a fact that quite irratates them. I don’t have a cold more of a stomach icky all over feeling icky type of thing.

Sandi, I’ll send 120 over STAT to snuggle. He is a little bit moody today, he had a lovely chickadee in his mouth and I rudely took it away, and clocked him on the head to boot.

Thanks CW, he just arrived. Such a handsome boy. I don’t know if I’ll get snuggles or not my girls are all going into flirtation mode don’t think I’ll get much attention. sigh

Morning everyone, CW you would be cranky too if your ‘prize’ was taken away, you were conked on the head by something thrown by your human for doing a natural predatory act!!! Not that we approve of those acts but they are still ‘hunters’ deep down, lol.

120 is getting cold compresses on his poor aching head (I think he might be playing it up a little) and the snuggles. I am ready to go curl up on my couch again and watch the fun

I would easily trade all the crap on my plate right now & take everyone’s aches & pains away if I could. My life just keeps getting suckier by the hour. It’s a harsh word to use & I apologize in advance,but,I truly hate this so-called man I’m living with. I’m glad your all having nice weather where you are,sorry for those who are dealing with nasty weather & thankful for all those who are helping the defenseless. Can’t stay. I just wanted to feel a part of something with those who I know care. All have a nice day.

Good afternoon (at least that is what the clock says here!) all! CW, try either club soda or try Shout Advanced spray gel stain remover–I have had good luck with both on red wine. Good job on saving the baby bird but be sure and have extra scritches for 120!

CW Oxy clean or Woolite carpet spray with the oxy in it. I hope the little chickadee recovers.

I could use a BLT for lunch. I am gettig ready to go to rehersal and sing for the next 4 1/2 hours.

Well phooey, that was a lost weekend if ever there was one! I’ve been sneezing, coughing, spluttering and have gone deaf in both ears. This cold truly sucks!!! Still, my temperature seems to have gone, and I’ve stopped aching, just look and sound like death warmed up!!

I am just back from the garden center. Wow, is it just here or have plants really gone up? I needed to replenish my herbs but I am not paying $6 for a 3″ pot of mint!!!

Everything has gone up, bought some steaks a week or so ago @ commissary and went yesterday, they had went up $3 in the time, ACK!!! Glad the cat food hasn’t went thru the roof yet, sigh.
