Most of the US, Canada and Mexico’s northern border cities will end Daylight Saving Time (DST) by adjusting clocks back one hour.

The modern idea of daylight savings was first implemented during the First World War. It was an early goal of DST to reduce evening usage of incandescent lighting, a former popular type of electricity, modern heating and cooling.
Many peeps don’t care for it because it disrupts their schedule. But kits will get fed an hour early so they have no problemo…

Paws up for not being a big fan of time change. Bright out now, but mid-pm it’s going to be way dark!

And yup, had to arise and feed Dorry according to “his” schedule ere risking “suffering the consequences.” 😮

Good morning – Comet was playing “the floor is hot lava” in the bedroom early this morning and I didn’t get much sleep after that. The JJ crew wanted to eat anyway, and I’m happy to say everyone showed up for breakfast at the same time!
Watched “Star Trek Beyond” last night at mom’s with my brothers and sisters. I don’t remember the last time all of us sat in a room and watched a movie together.
It’s another sunny day here in Jersey – a bit windy but nice. Leela likes this time of year when she can sun herself in the skybox.

LOL at the theme, and the common response from our furkits! ….. There was a black face with piercing green eyes nose pressed to the glass and screaming at the top of her lungs when I went downstairs this morning and a brown face with soulful blue eyes on my side of the door, chiming in her response, and leading me to the pantry (in case I had forgotten where the food was kept) ….. this after trying to sit on my head and swatting my hair for an hour ….

After the food crisis was resolved, those two promptly passed out in their respective favorite nap spots, and I had to begin my CE on line courses (oh joy) ….. 8 hours later, I’m crossed eye and my brain is full of a whole bunch of nonsensical infor. about standards/laws that I’ve been practicing for 30 years ….. It’s good to keep updated on them, but the updates could take all of an hour to read …. but they drag it into a 14 hour certification …. so you can imagine the ‘fluff’ BS that’s in these courses ….. *sighs*

Hi all from Monday with Daylight Savings, Now try and figure that one out little moon. 😆

I didn’t make it to the cafe yesterday. We were busy in the garden getting all my seedlings planted out, putting up wind breaks and staking tomatoes as we had heavy rains a winds forecast overnight. We got almost 1.5 inches of rain and there is still some to come. Plants all look happy for getting a good watering in.
AV, so sorry about the fishies 😥 and O hope you find out what happened.
PG, had to chuckle about LilBit being hungry and that extra hour of non-existent sleep. We all know that one.
As difficult as Daylight Savings may be at changeover time I am a big fan of the extra hours at the end of the day in Summer.
JJ, Comet is quite the comedian at times but I guess you didn’t find his antics all that funny. Oh how lovely that all the family were together watching a movie. We used to have all the family together at Christmas but haven’t managed for several years with some living overseas and others unable to afford the travel costs to get here.
AV, sounds like it’s all fun in your house this morning. What a great pic you paint of Abby and Caddy. Food crisis – bwahahahahaha.

Oh dear the CE course sounds mindnumbing and overly complicated. I bet you wished you could be like the kits and enjoy the sun in a favorite spot.
HRH Shadz went out early with Daddy and when I came downstairs I could hear her yowling and thumping the front door. She shot in the door when I opened it and straight up the stairs then stopped at the top and rethought her tactics. Food first then sleep. Down she came and waited impatiently while I washed her plates and refilled them before scoffing her food and heading back up to bed. Anything to avoid the wet stuff outside. New experience this morning, there appears to be a goose somewhere in the neighbourhood. I heard it several time honking and squawking. Interesting.

Comet and his antics-They’re funny to us but…
It’s nice to hear the gang was all in attendance for B-fest. At least, Miss Leela enjoys the time changes.

Amazing that a family can enjoy the evening together without blood shed. 😮

Oh AV – I can’t imagine how Miss Caddy sounded this morning. i’ve never had loud kit. I guess those courses wouldn’t be complete without a bunch of BS.

Rain, rain-oh sweet rain! This is the best time so your seedlings can get their roots dug in. Let us know what HRH thinks about the goose. Miss Gaea stays back when she sees them now. This wasn’t always the case. One of them wasn’t pleased and chased her. Ever since then she’s “Whoa-big bird!”

Despite their best efforts, my Steelers managed to score in the last minutes of the football game. 😡

JJ’s Giants played a good game and won. Yea!

Late. Very. This pm got caught up with assembling latest sweater. It’s done. Classic “boyfriend” pullover in a shade called Currant, burgundy with a very slight blue cast. Would love to wash and spin/rinse it now but it’s way late and n’bours might not appreciate washer being on even for a few seconds. It can wait ’til tomorrow.

I so need to go to bed. Knee aches but other leg from the one where I had cramp on Fri. Hope a night’s rest will do the trick as I woke up with this so might have slept weird. Or went out dancing and have no recall. 😮
