Good morning – I think we all have a sixth sense, it’s just more prevalent in some. Prevalent in cats, that’s for sure. Feral kitty Tommy (remember Tommy?) had an uncanny way of showing up at my door for a meal just before a storm, so he would get a big meal from me, then hunker down wherever it was that he went. And always watch the animals, not just the cats but the outdoor animals too, such as squirrels and birds. They may be able to tell you when a storm is coming, or even an earthquake, though noticeable ones don’t occur too much around here and the last big one I experienced was while I was at work. One time, having no basement, we crated Baby Leela and kept her near when she was acting a bit off. Sure enough, a close and nasty t-storm followed.
I see there is a special b-day thread for you, ECB, but I’m sure TDK agency kitties have made goodies and treats and will whip up anything you wish for. And wherever Lucy-Wucy is, I hope you can feel her vibe, as she feels today is special, even if she isn’t quite sure why.
MS, here I keep picturing Shadz nesting down in her basket by the fire. I guess for a fort-loving kitty, forts trump fire cozies!
