This day is set aside to give people the opportunity to hone their psychic abilities. Its origin dates back to nineteenth century England. Many psychics believe that everyone has a built in sixth-sense but they just don’t realize it. Here are a few suggestions that might help:
Guess who is calling you when the phone rings (w/o caller ID), take a deck of cards and try to guess the color of the suit or flip a coin and predict if it will fall on heads or tails. Of course, don’t use a two headed coin. 😉

Hi Deb, I was headed for bed but a movie came on – Riddick- and I can’t miss it.
Now have a coconut rough latte to help keep me awake, pretty nice too considering I don’t drink coffee.
HRH is asleep in her fort and hopefully she will stay there for the night but her habit has been to come and shove me over in bed.
Guess you are at ‘that place’ hope it’s going smoothly.
I hope Susie finds a wonderful new furever home. Lovely story.

Oh we watched two of the Riddick movies last weekend in here, I had never seen them before….enjoyed them.

The rough latte sounds good, might have to try something like that to stay awake here somedays. Tonight I slept from 9-10 p.m., just couldn’t fall asleep for love or money today.

Maybe HRH will stay asleep in her fort, it’s by the fire right?

Ricddick is over and now Outbreak has started, I may be late late to bed tonight.
HRH’s fort is in the dining room, for some reason she hasn’t slept by the fire this year. The beanbag and her basket remain fur free.

Good morning! HRH sounds so cute in her fort. Funny pics today. Leo must be psychic or able to read the calendar he’s always chewing on. He was literally about to bang my bedroom door down this morning just dying to wish me happy birthday. Or maybe he wanted breakfast….

Good morning – I think we all have a sixth sense, it’s just more prevalent in some. Prevalent in cats, that’s for sure. Feral kitty Tommy (remember Tommy?) had an uncanny way of showing up at my door for a meal just before a storm, so he would get a big meal from me, then hunker down wherever it was that he went. And always watch the animals, not just the cats but the outdoor animals too, such as squirrels and birds. They may be able to tell you when a storm is coming, or even an earthquake, though noticeable ones don’t occur too much around here and the last big one I experienced was while I was at work. One time, having no basement, we crated Baby Leela and kept her near when she was acting a bit off. Sure enough, a close and nasty t-storm followed.
I see there is a special b-day thread for you, ECB, but I’m sure TDK agency kitties have made goodies and treats and will whip up anything you wish for. And wherever Lucy-Wucy is, I hope you can feel her vibe, as she feels today is special, even if she isn’t quite sure why.
MS, here I keep picturing Shadz nesting down in her basket by the fire. I guess for a fort-loving kitty, forts trump fire cozies!

Good Sunday morning all! Still in my jammies, but am headed to the shower. I wish people would stop fiddling with my ‘wandering aimlessly’ days…as hubby has made suggestions about what I should do and Dau too…seriously people! I feel like a little kid who wants to stomp her feet and have a hissy. I think I’ll just be like a cat, put my nose up in the air and walk quietly out of the room towards the coffee pot……. 🙂

    Morning Joan!

Gosh it has been a long, long night seems that the clock’s hands have not moved much this whole shift.

KZ should do what KZ wants to do!
Hey Deb, sorry the hands on the clock are not moving.
Watching cooking shows for a while. Fun to watch, but I find myself thinking of a spin off: Dishwashers of Food Network. The cooking shows make everything look fun and easy, but I always think of all the dirty dishes us ‘regular’ people have to deal with when we recreate what we saw on tv!

Well KZ, gently throw yourself on the floor, kicking and having a hissy. If nothing else, I would love to hear about their reaction. 😉

I watched Hunger Games: Mocking Jay 1 last night and then fell asleep in the recliner. I am not motivated to do anything today but the cobwebs are clinging to the picture frames…

I signed up to be a conductor on the http://www.urrkn.com. It gives me the chance to get homeless cats to loving, furever homes across the country.

KZ, tell ’em that “little but fierce” KJ says that you can do what you want to do – but I feel certain that you can manage on your own – hissy fits are way under rated LOL.
Think that I’ll blame our PG for today’s expenditures! 😉 What with using my sixth sense. Well the “feeling” came over me that I “must” go into little boutique where I scored with 4 more prs of un-needed gym leggings – no kitties on them as excuse, but interesting prints and one pr in bright red! 2nd pr was a mere $1 so came to like $7/pr. Then also by chance came upon a just for 2 days designer boutique where I found me an interesting ring with cerulean blue geological looking stone. Was $15, cash only, only had $12 and change, vendor sugg that I go to bank machine, but as not my bank I’d get charged xtra for using it. Seeing as I like it so much she gave it to me for $12 and whatever change I scrounged in wallet. Not bad.
And this was after going to huge library where one indeed has to be a psychic as francophone staff, so English books are arranged somewhat strangely, ie a fiction could be in fiction/historical fiction/fantasy or crime sections, depending on who-knows-what criterion. 🙄
Sixth sense tells me that I’d better eat something and like now as it’s been a while since last noms as last night. Plus smooth latte!

    Hi!
I’m watching the “HEARTLAND” marathon. It started at 10am and goes till 2am tomorrow am? I missed a few hours due to working. Now I noticed they are skipping some episodes!
Remember the orangie, baby kitty, my friend found on her porch just before work with umbilical cord still attached, and a mom and daughter took it to care for it? They think it was a feral’s baby. Well, it passed away. Apparently it was sick…. But, I heard a great story from one of my customers today about a dog!! His grandkids live with him and he owns a lot of cats. The granddaughter had been looking for a certain dog, white, certain mix breed, female, etc. Couldn’t find one. Then they “happened” to look in the KILL SHELTER and THERE was the exact dog she had wanted all along. Only 1.5 yrs. old too! Ruckus is her name….. Well, this dog is SO adored and the girl is all over her. They are both so happy! Awww…. Oh, and Ruckus only had 4 days left…… that pushed the Grampa to agree to her getting it. 🙂
LOVE the story Deb about the home for cats when an elderly cat lover cannot take care of them anymore. Awww… SO sweet!!!
KZ, stand your ground on having a lazy day….
