    Gotta new kitten from my landlord they had her in a cage outside. The problem is that I gave her a bath and she still smells like poo. On a scale 1-10 shes a twenty easily. Seems like water made it worse. Any ideas on how to get this stinky smell to go away?

    What did you bathe her with? I hear Dawn dish soap works really well. It bonds to oils and pulls them into the water. But be careful not to use too much as it strips the natural oil from the skin. Anybody know the ratio to use? I would say a tablespoon or two maximum

    Dawn works wonders, I was never too careful on that first bath when it’s about fleas and in this case a poo stink! One time of too much won’t be bad for them, it would be if you did it every week though. There are some pet shampoos you can buy too but Dawn has always worked for me.
