“Mama Lynn sending Kay off to make salad for CSBM, as I put her steak on the grill. Oops, She didn’t tell me how she likes it” I will opt for medium rare. Makes for good leftovers!11 March, 2012 at 1:40 am #722932
Baked potato on the back burner!11 March, 2012 at 1:41 am #722933
Beer can chicken on grill, we have 3, more than enough to go around. Ribs in the back, keeping an eye on CBSM steak. All doing ok. Hot, going for a beer!11 March, 2012 at 1:44 am #722934
Well, who are these little ones hovering around my grill? I have visitors, my friends, a tabby, and tortie, oh, there’s a tuxie and a dark tabby. They smell the food and want to join the party. I guess I will be taking some chicken to give to them later. So cute, moving between my legs as I man the grill.11 March, 2012 at 1:55 am #722935
Actually, Lynn they are probably hoping you will * accidentally* trip and drop a chicken or two. Kitties are tricky.11 March, 2012 at 2:09 am #722936
Well, the food is cooked and in the lounge for all to enjoy. Salads, chicken, ribs and steak. The kitty have been around me the whole time. Come enjoy the food, and know that I cook from my heart for you all with love.
I have petted my beloved Lady and Lucky as they stood by me at the grill. Your babies were there as well. We gather our loved ones around us as we feed all of our friends, they were and are there in the lounge as well. Look behind you and around. No one ever leaves us when we need them.
I thank you for letting me doing the grilling and as you come to the nightshift, know that your loved ones, those living and passed are with you always.
Good night, enjoy and see you all again soon. Much love Mama Lynn and May the angels kiss you gently while you sleep.11 March, 2012 at 2:46 am #722937
Oh Lynn, food looks amazing. I rarely eat steak but if you have a very well done (read burnt, non mooing) steak, I would love one. Heinz 57 sauce and baked tater w/sour cream & I’m in Heaven. Yum!11 March, 2012 at 2:52 am #722938
Okay I think I am packed–off to the land of warmth and sunshine–they need rain there too!11 March, 2012 at 2:54 am #722939
You’re welcome to some of our rain, SM! It’s been raining all day, but I won’t complain because we need as much of it as possible. I didn’t do my usual Saturday trip to the grocery store, so I need to figure out something for a late dinner!11 March, 2012 at 2:56 am #722940
Linda, yep, boxer as in fighter. He says getting up onstage in front of an audience is easy “’cause at least nobody’s hittin’ me” We worry about him a bit because he’s a little slow on the uptake & we hope his former profession didn’t scramble his brains too badly.11 March, 2012 at 2:56 am #722941
my steak is perfect !!! how did you know i like medium rare ? the vicodin is kicking in after the hauling i did today. soon my home office will be done. it will be my home within my home. the kitties have ottomans to sit and/or sleep on. it’s really cozy !!!11 March, 2012 at 3:17 am #722942

Evening all!……………. tacos were on our menu tonight!…………. ground chicken/black bean mix, and all the accompaning things that go with that!…………. yummy!
……….. hope you are all having a good night!11 March, 2012 at 3:49 am #722944
Evening all, it’s wet here so Mama Lynn the BBQ is greatly appreciated. Love the furries rubbing around your legs.
Mmmmmmmm, may I have some ribs and tomato salad please. I’m still trying to decide what to feed the family for dinner, inspiration seems to be eluding me this afternoon.11 March, 2012 at 3:54 am #722945
Evening! I’ll have some ribs too. Just for a starter as I’ll have my leftover chicken cannelloni later. Damn it was good! Had a real home-made bechamel sauce. Weather is grey here, MS but I suspect the rain might be heading our way. Kilroy, if your bartender is a bit slow on the uptake maybe that’s why he pours generously!
