Mincemeat is raisins. This recipe sounds delicious. But then, it’s meat so of course it sounds good to me.

Ehmm I really don’t know what a bell pepper is… *blush*

But I meant any non spicy green pepper, not the small pepper used in traditional Mexican cooking.

PM, I’m going to try it too. Never have been that fond of Italian style meatballs and sauce. Think I’ll like this one a lot better.

PM, we speak the same language, In NZ we call it mince or minced meat and in the US it’s ground meat. We also say peppers or capsicum here. I was wondering where you got my recipe for the meatballs, slight difference though, I use dried mixed herbs instead of parsley, add a splurge of favourite sauce, and 2TBsp of sesame seeds for texture and the finely chopped onion goes on the meatballs. It’s a family favourite and when the girls left home they went with this recipe.

MS – maybe you’d better confess that I gave you that recipe! OK the sesame seeds bit is yours. And our meatballs are oven baked instead of fried but the recipe is VERY similar.

PM…Mmmm..the recipe sounds so delicious…My grandmother was from Spain and came to america with my grandfather(German) but alas I never knew her as she passed when my mum was only 10. I’d love to try this recipe out but you didn’t mention how much white wine to add to the sauce. Could you give me a guesstimation..
