Ive got a small 1.5 pound 8 week old kitten who is just now getting comfortable with the bed. We got her at 4 weeks underfed but Im thinking she will always be small. She is doing fine in bed, and I leave the door open for her to roam. I run into trouble because she screams for me to get her off the bed, and then she heads to the litter box. When I ignore her, she jumps off the bed but not always soon enough and has an accident on my floor. so do I shut her in a room with all that she needs at night till shes physically bigger or move the cat box to my bedroom for good?

Get a cat box for the bedroom for now and later when she’s older you can move it to another more suitable (for her) location. Also, you can make a makeshift ramp for her to get on and off the bed. Show her how it’s done with a toy that she can follow up and down to the bed and back to the floor. She will understand and realize that she can access the bed AND the litterbox without crying. Remember, she’s only a baby and like human babies, need to be taught how to do certain things with patience and love.
