Sio, I am so sorry; the hardest thing we have to do is help our furrbabies cross the bridge. You will be with her, and she will be surrounded with your love and comfort.

She will wait for you in the meadow, healthy and pain free, protected by the Wolf, and enjoying the company of all of the TDK kits and pups who will welcome her arrival.

Sio, my thoughts and prayers are with all of you and with Tansey. I know only too well how hard the decision is to make, even when you know that it is the best decision for Tansey. It hurts your heart so much. Hold her close and your voice and touch will guide her.

I’m so sorry Siobhan. Tansey is a treasure and losing her will be so difficult for you, hubby and Hermes.

Comet passed over a few other ornaments on the tree yesterday to play with one that has a bell on it. I immediately thought of Tansey and worried that she left at that moment. You know, when a bell on a Christmas tree rings, an angel gets wings. When a cat does it, it is for another cat.

Leela will spend the day sitting quietly with Hermes, and Tansey too, if that’s ok. She knows to stay in the background when the time comes. She has pretty daisies that Tansey can see. They are for Tansey’s mama, but Tansey gets them until she leaves for the Bridge.

“Soon,” he whispers to his two dear friends. “She will be here soon.”

Jiggs sighs and closes his eyes.

Oh no….I am SO very sorry, Siobhan. I have been thinking of you and Tansey and wondered how things were going. There is nothing harder we must do as pet owners. We know your pain…It is good Tansey will be at home…please know my heart aches for you and I send prayers of comfort to you and your husband. RIP, sweet Tansey. My Gizmo and many other furrbabies will be there to greet you.

Siobhan, I am so so sorry, you are having to say goodbye to your beloved Tansey. Bless you for loving her and for helping to end her pain and suffering. She will have many friends waiting at the bridge to show her the ropes and will wait for you there. You have many friends here who are surrounding you with white light to ease your pain and suffering in this time of loss.
