Morning PG! … OMG, that last pic of the premmie kit with his teddy bear is a COA for sure! ….. going to be a hot day here, especially since I woke up at 8am to 77 degrees … so ya know the upper 80s are in store …..
I need to get a lot accomplished today …. take MOB dress to get fitted for alterations …. shop/find birthday presents for both nephew and grand niece, mop/clean since Hazel couldn’t come this week …. I’ve got ‘Bob’ (the rumba) working …. that thing really works well on the cat hair …

Good Caturday to all. Hazeling for me too–I don’t have a roomba, but bought a dyson cordless vacuum that just is awesome in keeping cat hair and litter under control. Lightweight, and easy to get out and run over floors and furniture in between weekly vacuuming. Best get to it. It’s cool here and cloudy with rain expected this afternoon and tomorrow too. Oh well, I didn’t want to work in the flower beds anyway! 😛

Day 3 of rain. It’s expected to last another 2-3 days and then we have 2 days of sunshine and then more rain. I like it because I re-seeded my lawn and don’t have to water. Miss Gaea, on the other hand… *sigh* I had to put the electric throw on the bed for them.

I’m getting my manual typewriter out and practice because my typing is so sloppy with a keyboard. It annoys me.

Today is all James Bond movies. I’ll probably do some hazeling this weekend…or not.

    Have a happy~

Hi everyone – oooh, I’d better not let my trio see today’s topic. Took them to the rabies clinic in town this morning. In NJ, cats must be vaccinated against rabies in order to license them, which my three are. I am anti-rabies vaccination for indoor only kitties, but until the law changes this is the way it is. As for the outdoor crew, if I had taken them, the town would have made me license them, which I’m not really interested in paying for. It really is ridiculous that the town doesn’t help a colony – they need vaccinations the most! *steps off soapbox*
It must have been quite a sight to see me with the cloth carrier over my shoulder (in which was Comet, the heaviest cat, because he is the least likely to pee/poop/puke) and a carrier in each hand. They whined all the way there, but were very quite on the way home. I was pleasantly surprised by Leela, who only left a few ‘nuggets’ in the carrier – I was sure she would be a poopy mess. I have a cover for her carrier and she seems a bit less stressed when she can’t see what’s going on.
Anyway, it’s cloudy and chilly, and we’ll get KZ’s rain early tomorrow. The newly seeded lawn appreciates the rain here too!

Oh your poor kitties, Joan! Glad it’s all over.

Great pics today….love the flat tires one…lol.

Missed a few days here. I hope everyone has been doing well!

I’m sitting here having some lazy time with Eko asleep on my lap. :).

I glad you and your trio survived the clinic visit. Denver is the same way about rabies and licensing which I don’t like it.

Yea, ECB-good to hear from you. Gentle scritches to Eko.

Missed last 2 days here too – glad to se you ECB!
Sabbath over and will be getting place back in post-Passover or reg mode and soon will be admittedly happy to have me a muffin.
Catching up bit by bit – Auntie Joan again – and love niece’s ‘tude re kits – you must have had an influence on her LOL. “What are you going to do about the cats?” Same as always, they’re family too would have been my ans, but four-letter words would have been worked into and hehehe.
Over last wk scored big as street-find season in force with sorta warm weather arriving (rain here by tomorrow.) Result is a new end table, on wheels, and one of my best finds ever – a much-needed extra closet, purrfect condition, beechwood finish to match my kitchen which it is placed just outside of. Worth at least $200, for me the small amount I gave friend/Hazel’s pal who got it home for me in his van.

Oh and a kit adventure/situation in condo bldg. Fri getting ready for hol when n’bor knocked on door holding lovely girl kit! I’d seen her on street (I think) and she was hiding on his car in garage. No collar but she was soooo friendly and looked to be well fed. Outside/inside discussion not purrmitted, but … He was afraid that it was Dorry. What to do? I gave kit some kibble and she meowed happily and nommed it all up. We got another kit owner in bldg involved, had never met him but he has a lovely long-haired tabster, Mia. I called vet and we had to conclude that cat is from n’hood. No one wanted to take her to a shelter, just ’cause. On advice (this has happened once before) n’bor let her back out and said she seemed to be on her way to we hope her home. Have her in your thoughts, fellow TDKers please. And should I see her on street again with a purrson who looks to be “owner” words will be said, and I will not hold myself back.
Got 2 go. Hol over and back to wk and much stress to face as per, what can I say. A nice hot latte and soon, can’t hurt!

Good morning all. It’s a lovely warm sunny Sunday here.
Love the wee kitty snuggled up with it’s teddy.
AV, hope the day has gone smoothly and you have managed to get everything done that you needed to.
    Hi KZ and PG.
JJ that just sucks monkey-toes that you would have to license the outdoor kits if you had taken them for vaccination. You were trying to do the right thing by the kits. Good Leela, maybe having Mac there kept her calmer this year. Well done to all three for being calm on the way home.
ECB, lazy time with a lap kitty is good for the soul.
KJ, great finds. What a brilliant find the closet is, it looks so nice. I hope the visiting kitty found her way back home.

ECB, don’t you just love quiet time with a kitty? My trio are not lap cats, but Louie sat on my lap outside for a while yesterday; he is quite the lap cat!
Hope you had a happy Passover, KJ, not sure if I wished you a good one before. Hope the friendly kitty has made her way home. Great street finds! That cabinet is perfect.
Hi MS. That Simon’s Cat bit was me yesterday trying to “bag” Mac. I’m sore today, probably from slinging Comet over my shoulder, and possibly from crawling around trying to catch Mac!
KJ, niece is very much her aunt’s niece, the famed Jersey attitude is a skill! BTW, she’s having a boy!

Morning, shhhhh don’t tell anyone it is ‘not busy in here for a moment’ not going to even hint at the Q word…..

Joan, oh I see you had a joyful time taking all of the indoor kits to the vet clinic.

Waves at everyone, haven’t been around much…well between working 6 days a week, having constant migraines and just generally feeling like all cruddo I haven’t done much of anything along the productive lines. Kitty may have to have one of his eyes done again, sigh, it’s not looking good.
