Make Up Your Mind Day just goes to show that there really is a day for everything. This one is for those folks who are a little (or a lot) indecisive. No ifs, ands, or buts-this is your chance to stop putting things off for fear of responsibility and get things done. And what a better day to do this than New Year’s Eve?

And now we look on to Caturday and New Years Eve!

The kits are (gasp!) sleeping so off I go to bed. Cya and have a happy~

Oh boy…such funny pics today. I love business cat wanting to come back in during his exit interview…lol! The yarn kitty makes me think of KJ since she both knits and helps Dorry keep meticulous dental hygiene. And as far as phases of life go, I’ve always been an early to bed type so I think 2000 was the last new year I actually stayed up for.

Made the pioneer woman’s cinnamon rolls this morning. It’s becoming a New Years/hubby’s birthday (which is tomorrow) tradition…yum!

Our home inspection is scheduled for Friday in the morning. Fingers crossed. It is an older home…1986…I know what you’re thinking. That’s older? I grew up in a house my great grandfather built so, yeah, I don’t get it either. But we sold our 1981 home when we left Lubbock and it wasn’t easy competing with the newer houses with granite and shiny new bathrooms. But we like the extra space and established neighborhoods of 1960’s – 1980’s ranch style homes. We can usually only afford the ones that need a lot of updates though…this one no exception. We’ll see how the inspection goes.

Morning all! Cute pics, I can’t believe we’re almost in 2017!! …. Dau and SIL are up in Vermont skiing; Son is headed to our west coast beach (20 min.) to spend the New Years eve with friends, so Mr. AV, me, Abby and Caddy will have a quiet evening …. handy Scottie is spending today securely enclosing Miss Caddy’s shed, so tonight I’ll be able to lock her cat door/flap and she will be safely contained (the fireworks that occur are in downtown, which is only a few blocks from us) …. she will be terrified, so containing her will be best ….. Also, Gasparilla is just around the corner, and I definitely need to contain her for that – half a million people traverse by our house on their way to the parade, so she needs to be put up.

A beautiful sunny day today, I’m working on de-Christmasing the house and taking down the tree …. have a great day all!

LOL, if Dorry grabbed the yarn in his “meticulous” teef I would indeed scream like a little girl! 😉

Don’t do the “going out” thing for New Year’s Eve. Not since the one time I went out with 1st srs boyfriend back when. No plans to watch ball drop in Times Square either.

The only change will be putting up very touching 2017 SPCA calendar. And putting the wrong date on cheques ’til I get with the program. And yearly rent increase now officially in effect. *Sigh*

Paws crossed your inspection is clean. The rolls sound yummy, ECB.

    Gasparilla already, AV?

Bummer about the rent increase, KJ. It gets to me that landlords keep raising rents because they know we’ll probably not move. And even if we did, is it really going to be a better deal? I agree *sigh*

My final image for 2016 about making my mind:
