    Hi All,

Today we celebrate our fabulous felines! Pamper them, give them their favorite treats, take time out of your busy schedule to play with them and cuddle them. Of course, we know that every day is Respect Your Cat Day – at least your cat thinks it is! So let’s get started:

Morning! Love the classic statuesque pose of the cat – it commands respect!
Didn’t know about Richard II’s edict.
Yet another grey day here with a bit of snow possible. Spring is coming though – buds on trees and the birds are singing their springtime tunes.

Morning all! Cool Sat. Today, nice change! Nothing pressing for me today, drinking my morning coffee and watching my foodie shows. Abby yakked right outside the bedroom door last night …. Found by Mr. AV’s foot this morning …. Grumbling and a few choice words ensued …. I feigned to be ‘still asleep’ … *snicker*

AV, you made me laugh with the feigning sleep comment–our rule here is whoever finds the yakkage has to clean it up…Mr. KZ will act all innocent about not seeing it. Of course, I love it when he can’t avoid it!
Getting ready to hop into shower–litter boxes cleaned, outdoor cats fed (indoor ones too) breakfast cleaned up. Hazeling here again and need to pick up a couple of little Easter basket gifts for grandchildren today sometime. Later!
    Have a wonderful Caturday!

Hehe, love hearing those choice words while looking at the inside of my eyelids! I almost vacuumed a hairball yesterday, thankfully crouched to look under the table as I was vacuuming.
On my way to foodie shows I stumbled over Animal Planet, so I’m stuck on kitty videos.
Have fun shopping for Easter goodies, KZ. When I was a kid, M&M’s were the best treat ever, and I looked forward to seeing them in my basket. 🙂

Afternoon all! Well, I’m sorry to say, I think I’ve done myself in today! After washing a ginormous load of laundry this mornibg, I decided to gator wrestle the sheets back on our kingsize bed by myself…. BAD DECISION …. barely 120 lb woman vs huge kingsize temperpedic bed …. not an even match! I definitely pulled something, my left lower back hurts so bad I can hardly walk …. asprin, heating pad …. not the Saturday I hoped for …. on the plus side …. STUPID Syfy movies are hilarious!! Lol

    Good morning all.
LOL at AV’s comments and then everyone else’s comments on yakkage. Joan, snert! at ‘hearing those choice words while looking at the inside of my eyelids’. HRH prefers to yak outside if she can.
AV, hoping that your back is just a tweek from the bed making gymnastics and comes right quickly. A good time for some pampering now.
It rained all night and has been raining until a short time ago, we have some heavy rain and thunderstorms forecast for this afternoon but who cares. We ill be inside watching the TV. Today is the BIG DAY.
It’s the final if the Cricket World Cup and it is NZ v Australia. We are playing our closest neighbour and perennial rival. There is a love/hate relationship between our two nations so this should be one amazing and intense game of cricket.
I won’t be on here much longer, once the game begins it’s all eye on the screen.
Go the Black Caps! Go New Zealand !

Nothing better than bad SyFy movies when you’re nursing an injury. Sorry about the ouchie, AV, hope you feel better soon.
    Go New Zealand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
Tried the recipe for ricotta spinach dumplings tonight. They’re not bad, kind of messy assembling – when the recipe calls for “floured hands” to put them together, you know it’s going to be messy!

    Hey Joan and Buttons!
MS, I virtually have all my Black Caps cheerleading gear on – Go NZ!!!
Waking up to discussions of yakkage … hmmm … LOL.
AV, your back – awwww! My difficult hazeling chore is wrestling duvet into queen size duvet cover, yet I’m too stubborn to leave it for friend/Hazel. And have also damaged ribs as hit them on floor when crawling under bed to adjust mattress slats. And the time when I missed a step on ladder and it came crashing down on me. Some things we are just not made for. Now firstly I am not a physio, but if you can hardly walk, a call to one might be plan. Mine recommends ice on/off for 10 mins at intervals, and not directly on skin. And arnica cream, which surprisingly helps. Heat causes blood to rush to injury site and increases inflammation/pain. Also heard that ibuprofen is best although I stick with Tylenol as works for me. Again, I hesitate to give medical advice and would consult pro if pain does not abate.
And my purry 2 cents to theme which is a given. Plus paws up for late, lamented King Richard II for banning heinous practice. He also gave good speech to curb Peasant’s Revolt. And then ringleaders probably met hideous executions. Feudal system – not fun!

I love cheesy SyFy movies! Sharknado! Take it easy AV. Mr. AV should be pampering you.

    Whoo-hoo Black Caps!

Glad you’re back with us, KJ. I hope you had a quiet Sabbath.
