This may sound basic but “Hello” encourages us to recognize how important communication is to our daily lives. World Hello Day was created as a response to the Yom Kippur War that had just ended in October of 1973. Say hello to at least 10 people during day sending a message of openness and goodwill to others.

Morning PG and MS–and all who trickle in….cold here but pretty. Expecting rain later on with temps dropping drastically. I guess I mistakenly thought we could slide by this year and skip winter. Guess not. I’m still not ready to wear a coat. 🙁
Gotta start some Hazeling around here, honestly the hag was a no show AGAIN this week!

Hello everyone!
Fun pics. Oh PG, good work aiming that to the south! It’s chilly but pretty here too.
I have 7 regulars at the cafe. A little while later the little black female comes around. I distract the group with a refill of crunchies while I give her a meal.
Have also noticed a shift in backyard dynamics. They are standing up to bully boy Rorschach.

Thank you for the Maori greeting MS. It’s cold. The night time temps. are in the high 20s. I haven’t had much snow in Denver but the mountains are getting pounded. The ski resorts are skipping a happy tune. I’m so glad they’re standing up to Rorschach, JJ. Sometimes, that’s all it takes in the group.

I’m watching Monty Python and The Holy Grail. I forgot how funny this movie is…

Glad you are getting rain on the gardens, MS. Those young plants are loving the drink for sure!

Fun time at the market today. Spent too much $$, but got a few Christmas presents, dinner, and a big chocolate chip muffin.
Foster baby Jaxson went to his forever home today. Sort of glad he went before I got there, as I probably would have cried. He is one of the lucky ones though, finding his forever home with a couple who are hopelessly in love with him. He gets to have a big brother too, Nicky is 2 1/2 years old.

Good afternoon all.
Had rain all night along with thunder and a car skidding off the road and into a power pole and then fleeing. Power not lost but some damage to pole and now reported.
HRH didn’t like the thunder and hid under Airy’s bed until it was done with us and then came snuggling back to bed. The day is windy and sunny and quite warm in sheltered areas.
KZ, I don’t know what we are going to do with Hazel she is consistently inconsistent and a hag and a trollop. Keep warm.
JJ, it’s great the backyard Cafe have grouped together to stand up to Rorschach. Awww the wee girl comes late but JJ spoils her. Cute.
Hi PG, keep warm and I think you can ease up on the fans in our direction for now.
JJ the gardens are well watered now, I ran a stick through the soil and it’s damp to a good depth finally. Now for some rapid growth and to keep the soil moist with watering.

Awwww JJ, tears of joy are permitted especially when it’s about such a sweetie as Jaxson who has certainly landed on his feet.

Yikes with the car skidding into the pole, MS.
Leela agrees with HRH, and doesn’t like thunder either.
Glad the hatden is sufficiently watered!
