We’re not sure what happened but this morning our Lilly passed away. She was just featured here on Oct. 16. No sign of anything wrong the past days, everything normal last night. She was with our son getting petted, jumped down as mommy came out of the bedroom and just collapsed by the door. She made a strange noise and before I could get out of bed she was gone. Her last week was full of getting spoiled anyway, with grandma here visiting. Those two became friends quickly, and Lilly spent lots of time up on grandma’s bed getting loving. I’m not sure who is sadder, us or grandma.

Oh no!!! I’m so very sorry! My sympathies go out to your entire family. For her time on earth Lilly knew unconditional love and in the Meadow she is whole and healthy again forever. 🙁

How heartbreaking. I am so sorry. Of course Lily woke up in the Meadow, with no suffering, joining all of our cats and kittens there who will make her feel loved and welcome. She will be waiting for you with open arms when you meet yet again.

My sympathies to you and your family. Miss Lily had the best fur family any girl could want but now she’s romping in the Meadow. It’s so hard to let go esp. when you don’t understand why but she will always be with you.

Thanks. Since we just had to put Tyger down a few months ago this was kind of tough. She’s with him now, the vet took her ashes to the same place.

Oh TL, how heartbreaking. RIP Lilly, safe in the Meadow and playing with Tyger.
    Condolences to all the family.

I am so very sorry. I have sponsored a bulb for the shelter holiday tree for both Tyger and Lilly. They will shine and brighten the lives of shelter kitties. If you want, you can email me and I will send you the program with their names. Use the search box for “Joan’s Annual Holiday Project”.
You all must be so sad, and we are sad with you. Tyger and Lilly, though, are together again.

oh no, TL! … If I remember correctly, Lilly was quite a senior … you’ve probably read we lost Cuddles (19) last week … she will meet Miss Lilly at the meadow …. (((Hugs)))

Thank you Joan from New Jersey for sponsoring a bulb for my two kitty’s. We weren’t sure how old Lilly was because she adopted us as a full grown cat. We assume someone’s cat that either got dumped, tossed out when they moved or got out from somewhere because she was de-clawed and we assume spayed. An ad in the local newsletter ran for a month with no replies, so she became ours. Well, as soon as her and Tyger could agree who was in charge of the house anyway. We kept them separated with a baby gate in a doorway, but in a weeks time both were jumping over it to see who that other cat was. It sure is strange these past few days having no kitty’s to feed, and not worrying if a door is closing fast enough to keep Lilly from sneaking out.
