So I recently bought a pack of Special Kitty canned food for my baby (it was the only pack they had at Walmart and I was tired of buying individual cans) and shortly after she started eating it she developed some digestive problems and has had them since. I’ve given her pumpkin and started cooking chicken breast to try and give her a break from the food. I’ve noticed a significant difference but she’s still having a bit of problems. Has anyone else had problems with Special Kitty canned food? I noticed it had a lot more water in it than the other cans I’ve fed her, could that part of the problem for her?

More water in a cats diet isn’t a bad thing, but I have not fed the Special Kitty wet food so can’t comment on it. If I were you, I would start with a general well check with the vet to make sure that nothing is going on internally. Then do some searching about food and try it. A good tummy settler is goat’s milk, or goat’s milk yogurt, which I have used with my cats/kittens. You can get the milk fresh in the refrigerated milk section or in cans and powder in the baking aisle in most grocery stores.

I will post some links on cat nutrition for you.
