I adopted 11 year old Ruby about a month ago. He’s a big orange boycat.

He’s stopped eating and lost weight..He is currently being hospitalized so he can get fluids and syringe feeding. He may be in liver failure.

It’s going to get expensive but I want to do what I can for him.

Thank you all.. I just got back from visiting him at the vet.. He will need a feeding tube put in today. He seems so sad, but he purred for me when I held him.

I fed one of my kitties through a feeding tube for a while,she got her strength back and started eating on her own again.I think the most important thing is really bonding during this time,showering Ruby with one on one time.
