Hi. First time posting and hope I don’t sound too mental. We recently rehomed our lovely cat, George. My kids were very upset so we had brought them a new kitten. Willow. She is amazing. Happy, playful, ball of energy. She eats, drinks, sleeps, plays and is adorable. The only
Problem is she has had loose stools since we got her 10 days ago. They did at one point get quite bad and she Pooped 4 times on my living room carpet. I have three children, 8,6 and 11 months. My baby is crawling. I scrubbed the floor within an inch of its life, the used a caper cleaner and yesterday I steamed the whole carpet too. I have taken Willow to the vets twice this week. The vet doesn’t seem too concerned as she is so happy and healthy otherwise. I have wormed her over past three days and changed her food to Hills. Before this the lady who I gt her from was apparently feeding her adult food mashed down. I feel like I have tried everything to get a formed poo, she’s has natural yogurt on the end of my finger yesterday but stools are still loose today. The vet has now put out a syringe of probiotics I had to pick up tomorrow. My baby today has also had some diarrhoea and some mucus in her poo. Not unusual she suffers with allergies. But I am of course tying the two together and am absolutely panic stricken she has caught something from Willow. 🙁 can anyone tell me how likely that is. Baby is fine in herself. No swollen glands, temp , sickness etc. Any help would be so appreciated. I am making myself I’ll worrying an haven’t slept or eaten in two days. I think the vet think I am loopy 🙁

If you’re concerned I suggest that you contact your baby’s pediatrician. And contact the vet for concerns re your kitty. Hope this helps.
