I have two almost two weel old little girls and they are absolutley my babies, I am so attached.I have had them both since they were about a day old. Skye is doing great!! But Luna is having trouble pooping she was doing great all week until about a day and a half ago. When I try to stimulate her to poop, its very clear it’s very uncomfortable. She is trying to push but nothing comes out. Get belly is very round and pretty hard. What can I do!? I can’t lose her, she is my baby.

Yes, I was going to take her to the vet but the next available appt isn’t until Friday. So I was wondering if there was anything to help her in the meantime. It’s been about a day and a half since she’s pooped.

You can add some olive oil to her food, it could help soften up what’s in there to help move things through. Sounds like she could use an enema, which the vet will be able to do. Do you have an emergency vet in your area? If you do, give them a call and see what they recommend. Keep her hydrated with liquids, goat’s milk is best. The KMR tends to cause constipation. I will post a link for you on the triangle method of pooping a kitten, many have had great luck with it.
