    FondaHonda, that’s one reason we had to take my brother’s gun away from him. He has a CCW permit and used to carry his gun in his truck. My brother is as sweet as the day is long – until he gets behind the wheel. He turns into somebody that none of us know – lol.

    I also have a permit, but had to stop bringing my gun to work for the reasons you said. Now I just carry my trusty taser. 😉

    I am soooooooo type-A when I drive it’s ridiculous! I hate when people don’t ‘play by the rules’. There’s a certain street in my neighborhood where everyone has to merge to the left because of construction. Pray for the person (idiot) who zooms up on the right passing all of us who have been waiting like the caring, responsible people we are, because they ain’t getting in in front of me! They can (and almost have) hit my car before I let a cheater in front of me. I also cuss the most when I drive. Oh, funny thing happened last night during the Cowboy game–I yelled an expletive at the tv (like it would make any difference!) and my dog jumped down from the couch and scurried to the bedroom. I had said the same word I say when I’m irritated with him, so he thought he was in trouble!

    I HATE those people who ignore the merge and then try to get in front of everybody. Whenever I’m driving I never let them in, but I do let them see my crazy eyes and let them read my lips “GO AHEAD AND HIT ME (EXPLETIVE DELETED) YOU GO RIGHT THE (EXPLETIVE DELETED) AHEAD AND GET YOUR (EXPLETIVE DELETED) KICKED FROM HERE TO MARS OK??? DO IT DO IT!!!!!”. They then do one of two things, they stay where they are or they back up. Idiots.

    Your poor dog – lol.

    In that same situation I’ve been known to give the other drivers the ‘Come on’ gesture with my hand. Whew, HM, did you secretly tape record my last conversation with those idiots? It sure does sound the same. . .

    At least we’re a good distance apart. . .thankfully, for the other Texas drivers! I also yell at the people in front of me who let the cheaters in line. Why can’t we all just work together and not let them in? I don’t get it!

    Whew–glad I never learned to drive! Sometimes I ride my wheelchair in the bike lane and have come close to being road kill!But for the most part, Portland has great train/bus service, so I just avoid the hassle of driving altogether! Never have missed it, either.
