Pancake Caturday 01/16/10

Good morning all! I have had the dogs get in a fight–bacon was involved and the dachshund won. Deuter threw up a hair ball. Sherlock tried to help clean it up by stepping on it and grounding it into the carpet. I noticed the house was freezing and thought that our heater was broke–it was turned off!! Seems that when I went to turn it down because of the fire, I actually turned it off! We have had no heat in the house save the fire for over 24 hours and it is 37 degrees. No wonder I am cold! Steaming carpets and doing laundry–my idea of a fun day!

Deuter opened the draw with the nip. Flippin cat has the bag and is running through the house with hubby close on his heals. Hubby and Deuter are covered in nip! Hubby gets bag and runs to the kitchen. Deuter is rolling all over the floor where it spilled. His new post is covered, he is covered, the carpet is ever so lightly sprinkled, and Deuter is enjoying himself immensely. There are days they are amusing and then days where I wonder how many messes I will have to clean up because of them. Who knew Deuter could open a draw–his addiction is certainly increasing his brain power! Is that how it is supossed to work?

SOM are there any better days then with the furry crew?? Deuter–well he is stoned and crashed infront of the fire. Sherlock is landscaping the backyard–my whole wood pile is being carefully placed around the yard! I have done 3 loads of laundry and have a hot cup of coffee! It is coffee break time! Deuter are you alive man???

Deuter is in a box sleeping it off. Sherlock is playing with Deuter’s toy from Christmas. They are both in front of the fireplace. I think there is finally contentment with my furry crew…until later.

Morning all…well at least it’s still morning here. I’m at work, supposed to be filing all the stuff that has piled up, but ugghhh.

CM, I think you do a service by cutting those “door meetings” short. You’re not stringing them along. We usually don’t answer the door even!

I’m going to work in my pajamas on Tuesday–it is spirit week.

… I’m back, and yes, still in the Hello Kitty Pjs…… Abby has been demanding treats all morning, so far she’s conned me out of a second round…… while I was at the market, (thanks to Skyron’s thread), I got a hankering for that curried lima bean casserole, so I picked up the stuff to make it, along with some chicken to pan sear and rise to serve it over….. promises to be a yummy dinner!….

The ones I am wearing to school are black with grey and white bears on them. I have a matching robe. I will have on my Eeyore slippers as well.

Sounds tasty AV. I am making meatloaf with ground bison. So little fat–not a big need for bread crumbs. Fresh steamed cauliflower, carrots, and pea pods. Not exciting I fear, but haven’t made a meatloaf in months.
