Hi everyone! It’s a Friday night here at the NS. We are having movie night. All the standard movie snacks available, can you smell the popcorn and butter? We have all black and white movies to watch, please make suggestions. The kits requested watching Casablanca first. The fire is lit, the pillows fluffed and blankets are out. There are tabbies in baskets waiting to be snuggled. Come on by, pj’s are the outfit of choice tonight. Think I will snuggle that nice big orangie coming my way! Happy Weekend.

Oh yay, it’s Friday night! I’m in my sweats already! Think I’ll settle in at the TDK lounge with a tuna melt and a coke. Oh, ok, Mr. Kitty Bartender, I’ll have a shot of rum with that.

I will watch whatever the kitties decide to watch – will probably fall asleep soon anyway!

Hi gals, thanks for joining me! My sister and I are going into the city proper tomorrow for a girls weekend. I really need it. She got a great deal on a luxury room thru Groupon that is right on Michigan Ave. I am responsible for driving since I know the city so well. Maybe get one of those delicious deep dish pizzas and just enjoy time walking, talking and forgetting about my troubles. I hope to take pictures, if I can remember to take my camera!

Hi all, just popping in for a sec. Work is over. I have to go in on Monday for an exit interview, but I got the first time slot of the day and should be done by 11. And then………..??????????

oh Kilroy! so sorry, ending a job is scary and unsettling, but I just know there’s something good right around the corner for you!……….. I’m in a similar boat, my job is over at the end of this month, and we’re all on our own again!………….. prayers, strength and white lights, my friend!!

Hi CSBM, Kilroy & AV! Yeah, AV, I just saw that other thing – if it was legit, wouldn’t it be translated?

Anywho, I am soooo glad it’s the weekend. I felt completely like trash last weekend due to an afternoon meeting and was quite happy to mope all weekend, then decided to pick myself up and dust myself off and start all over again on Monday. It was a tough week, and I’m exhausted! Fell asleep at 7:30 the other night and 8:30 last night. Sure hope it’s worth it, we’ll see. I don’t know how much of it is up to me and how much is up to TPTB.

Evening all, just back from a lovely afternoon beside a lake and river where daughter is camping for the long weekend. There were quiet walks, feeding ducks and kayaking to be enjoyed. Mr MS went kayaking for the first time in years and turned over in the kayak. Dare I say that that his darling daughters and wife stood on shore with baited breath until he finally surfaced – then we burst into fits of giggles. Mr MS had to dive several times to find his glasses which were stuck in the mud. Later we cooked our dinner on a gas cooker and then watched the sun sink into the west.

MC, have a fantastic day tomorrow with your sister and have a bite of pizza for me please and remember the CAMERA.

Evening Jan 🙂 Lol on turning over in the kayak, now I don’t know if I would even brave a kayak…..but then again I do not know how to swim.

Very dear friend is working on signing in to TDK, so we shall have to see what she decides as a Nick!

Ohhhh lovely, a new kitty in the sand box. LOL

I won’t get in the kayak, I would rather one you sat on the top of, not in. They were wearing lifejackets and the water was only chest high.

Luckily he had some dry clothes to change into but he still had to wear damp undies. He walked funny for a while but it was a hot sunny day and he had them steamed dry quickly. We cooked bacon to have on croissants with salad for dinner. Mum was with us and enjoyed a good laugh too.
