    Hi all! Happy Evening or Morning or Afternoon! The kits are setting up some soup and sammies for your supper or lunch. Lots of drinks available at the bar. I am gonna collapse in the living room part of the NS with Betty & Wilma. The Tuxies are at your service to take your order.

    Hi MC! Sitting by the fire reading and the vibration from the washing machine knocked the Rubbermaid container of cat food to the floor, spilling water everywhere! Ah, but it’s only water, and all’s right with the world now.

    Back to my book…with a KOTSW!

    Oh and Comet is still yelling about his broken toy. I forgot how much he likes the laser pointer, so we are playing with that now. However, he will only chase that for so long then he sits and pants. But when he’s caught his breath, he yowls for it again. That’s my boy!

    hello !!! I would like a burnt grilled cheese on wheat with ham and tomato. a large bowl of tomato soup also. and if you can find them, I’d also like a bowlfull of cut up stawberries and real whipped cream. a large glass of ice cold 2 percent milk will be wonderful.i will eat in the TDK lounge so I can play with Betty and Wilma. thank you !!!

    Hey everyone!………….. today is Dau’s 21st B’day!!!!!……. how can my baby be that old????……………. LOL

    ……..the weather was realy ‘funky’ today here…………… should have been a beautiful day, but there’s a HUGE fire in S. Geogia that has blown smoke this far south!………… it was really weird this morning, smelled like someone was burning a brush fire, and kinda hazy…………. but eventually the wind must have shifted, and it blew away, and was beautiful by noon!……………..prayers that no one was hurt in that huge blaze!!

    Hiya CSBM! *waiving* I could never drink straight milk when I was a kid, but now I like it, especially ice cold! We drink skim, but it’s nothing like the super-gross skim that my grandmother drank. *shudder*

    Hey AV, we’ve had fires in NJ, but thankfully the closest one was by the Meadowlands, where the Giants & Jets play, which is about 45 minutes away and far from the state forest where I live.

    Evening all, just had lunch here. It’s another beautiful hot sunny day here and HRH is sprawled outside under a shrub keeping an eye the birds and crickets and hoping for a mouse.

    Wow AV, miniAV is 21 years old! You must have been a child bride! ! AV, you might get an amazing sunset with that smoke in the air.

    Tapping into the wealth of knowledge here–what is known about Lupus. Other than it is an autoimmune disease I really don’t know much. I would like to learn what I can so I can ask questions. Thank you for anyone that can give me a hand.

    Evening everyone.

    AV, congrats on Mini AV’s birthday, wow how time flies huh.

    Soxsmom, don’t know much about Lupus except that the one person I know with it tells me that it flares up just out of the blue at times and hurts when it does.     Thank goodness we haven’t any fires here yet, knocks on wood. Haven’t done anything today except finish up washing blankets, sheets, throw rugs and things like that.

    Saw that there is a company trying to open a horse slaughter facility in Roswell, NM….how sad is that 🙁

    I’m back!

    I’ve missed you all so much. I’ve just been so busy with my testing and a few troubles at home. How are you all? Currently I’ve received a new kitten, who is yet to be named. He’s approximately 3-4 weeks old. He’s quiet a handful to bottle feed. I’ve missed you all so greatly, and it is a pleasure to get to talk to you all again! It might take me a while to catch up, but hopefully I will eventually get caught up. I hope you all have been doing well!

    Evening all, dinner is simmering very slowly and HRH is curled up asleep on my bed. I do believe she didn’t appreciate the neighbours dogs invading her backyard through a hole in their fence and has gone to bed early in a huff.

    WOW! Now that is what you call a cat tree, they are fantastic and what cat wouldn’t love to climb and hide amongst the leaves. I wonder what material they have used for the leaves.

    ……. MS, LOL @ HRH in a ‘huff’……….. how DARE that *goggie* invade her territory!!!

    ……. Joan, the fires in GA are about 4 hours north of me……….. I was completely surprized that the smoke/smell had blown this far south!……… sadly, they must be HUGE………….. the news has been covering them for a couple days now!

    ……. grabs a hot cuppa, and heads out………… gotta go glue myself to the computer – I’ve got a mountain of input to do today!

    Good morning AV, you’re up bright and early. AV, we sometimes get amazing sunsets and smokey skies when Australia has huge bush fires, it is amazing just how far the smoke can travel once it gets up high in the atmosphere.

    Thanks Deb. I have read many websites–I just wish I knew what treatment I should receive. Pain relief and the energy thing is killing me. Appears this is what triggered a bunch of the kidney problems–seems it is common to have it attack the kidneys. Just trying to digest and learn.
