For what it’s worth, I agree with the gift card for Susie. I went to Paypal and redid everything (I used to have an account in my eBay days) but haven’t sent my donation yet. I’ll do it tomorrow.

I have only one son and we are close and talk often but my niece is like the daughter that I never had. Actually, I probably enjoyed her more for the fact I could do the fun stuff with her and not have to be the “bad guy”. But if I would of had a daughter I would have wanted her to be just like her.

Gosh, you guys are giving me goosebumps. I remember that morning like it was yesterday. Watching that 2nd plane (not even knowing at that moment that it WAS a second plane), then the horror that followed was something I hope nobody ever sees again. God bless all of them, their families, and the first-responders who lost their lives.

At the school I work at we are gathering all the kids out around the flag pole where the flag will be put a half mass. Everyone is to wear Red white and blue and hopefully there will be a moment of silence ( With the population I work with it’s hard to do)

Bumblebee, head is on overload, don’t know what I meant! trying to keep up here, seems to be a losing battle! Sorry for any confusion. Chalk it up to “older age”. Not old age, yet mind you, just older age!

Yea, Bobbi, can’t go there either. Just came home and hugged everyone I could get my hands on who meant anything to me. Called the kids, Crying men at late 20’s who would never think to call mom for birthdays, holidays, etc, were calling like crazy. Amazingly enough, shook them up, and not always on time, (boys will be boys) are getting better. Good for us moms. Sorry it took such a tragedy to get them there.

I am glad you have a son. I always say, maybe I should have had a son instead of a daughter. She just cannot stand me right now and is always telling me what is wrong with me, etc. :[ Hates my voice, we have nothing in common, etc… Really hurts my feelings as I homeschooled her and treated her very well her whole life, and was a very good mom (as others have told me over and over) although she says I wasn’t, etc. I didn’t get along with her dad, and it seems not with her either.
