    Bobbi,

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes – I will pass them on to my Barbi doll.

I didn’t get Zippy yet. I went to pick him up and he wasn’t done.

So I had to leave the keys to my truck for the 17 yrold to be able to pick him up about now. My daughter is still at work. I took the mileage since he isn’t legal yet. (no license).

Chuckysstaff, I’m well except for the sore ribs. We have a fantastic Spring day here, started a tad cool at 2.9 Celsius but we are up to 20C. The birds are all frantically making nests and I’m busy raising vegetable and flower seedlings inside in preparation for the warmer planting weather. It’s school holidays at the moment, 1 week gone out of 2. My kids have left the nest but the neighbourhood is noisy with kids having fun.

My day was busy washing blankets, relaxing some and odds and ends. Didn’t put my new clothesline up cause the weather looked iffy. Last night I heard a few rummbles, I ran to unhook my modem! It lightly rained a bit and that’s it. Today was sunny/cloudy and I just dried the stuff to make sure.

The cute walking stick was here on the door again last night. I was just about to put the dog out, so coaxed him to go up higher on the door, which he did. Guess he is getting used to it by now. LOL…. Later, I saw the dog on top of the steps landing so looked out and saw the poor walking stick on the bottom step. I was so afraid the dog would go down and hurt him!! So, I got the dog in and went out to see the walking stick. He was fine thank heavens. I didn’t want to pick him up, but watched him climb all over the knot and hook thing ~ the dogs long lead thing. I took notice he has 6 legs, 3 on each side, and two long antennas. What a sweet little guy. Hope he/she laid eggs so we have some next year. Now all we need is praying mantis here.

What do you mean by: you took the mileage?

    #64455

    Ok,

    I’m back.

I do have a few jobs to do tonight.

Just had to go get some soda and candy for my coworker who was having a low blood sugar. We are both diabetic, but she is much more advanced.

I wrote the mileage down so I know how far he drove the truck. He “borrowed” it one day, when I didn’t even know he had the keys, and ran a half tank of gas.

Dorie – your friends obviously didn’t use the Energiser batteries – as promoted by a bunny!
