Remember that FH, as she did. It will mean the world to you. You are a good girl, she wanted you to have them. Now you know why, and if you don’t, it’s because it meant so much to her. Lynn

We’ll keep our fingers crossed for you, Instinct. Why don’t you get the pau-dah thingy and the whack-bonk stick and cross them, too, just for extra luck?

*hoping like hell he’ll cross them instead of use them tonight*

You’re probably virtually visualizing whomping me, though, aren’t you?

Susie, I know that feeling of losing a day. It happens to me alot when there is a Monday holiday. I am confused about what day of the week it is for the rest of the work week.

I make it a point NOT to watch court TV shows. I’ve seen enough of Judge Judy to be revolted. She does not display anything remotely looking like a judicial temperament. There have been too many spinoffs to keep up with. The thing I dislike most about them is the impression they give the public about what courts are like, especially when they come to court to serve on juries or are trying to represent themselves in a court case.

I do like to watch the Law and Order shows, but they are not realistic in terms of court procedures. Judges don’t rule on motions in the hallway or in the judge’s chambers. Judges don’t talk to one lawyer about a case without the other side’s lawyer being present.

I also like the CSI shows, but they too are not accurate. CSIs don’t question witnesses or suspects.

    *gets down from soapbox* Whew!

    Instinct: groan!

Sounds like the interview went very well. Good luck on Saturday with the second interview.

KW–I love the shows like ‘Forensic Files’ that show how they solve crimes. It amazes me and is also reassuring. With technology the way it is, you may have gotten away with a murder for years, but watch out because you will get caught someday!

Isn’t anyone going to ask what Spanx are??? Great invention. Makes you look 10 pounds and one size smaller. Then one goes and eats 4 Krispy Cremes and suddenly Spanx feel pushed past their limit and start begging for mercy.

Law and Order and CSI aren’t real?!?! *gasp*

I saw one CSI (actally the only one I ever saw) where they tied a guy to the crime because of -get this – a blood splatter pattern that outlined him against a curtain.

    Yea, so realistic.

If they were to show a real CSI team it would just be the team showing up, bagging, tagging, photographing and writing their reports and then moving on to the next crime scene. Oh, and with a court appearance evey once in a while.
