Now I no how corn get hair. Kitties are running through it shedding. LOL!

I told on last night’s thread about my issues with the women who I work for in the subdivision, how they were coming in to gang up on me today and, as they put it, see if I am WORTH the trouble they perceive me to be….well. The meeting went very, very badly, it was actually quite bizarre, and they said things to me that would never have been said in front of anyone. I gave my notice, which of course is what they were after. They acted shocked that I would not give in to their demands (work for them on days that I am already booked for Lancome.) I should mention that I have worked for many months, since June 10 actually, and made $800 total commission. I am owed about $2800 on two contracts coming in, which is why they want me to leave. Lancome pays me for a day’s work and treats me well. They have kept me from going under with this bad market. Anyway, I had to call the broker about what happened. She said that we all needed to meet under her supervision to work out a fair and equitable “exit.” When the message reached those two that I went to the broker, they became enraged, since there is nothing that irks a bully more than when you call on someone more powerful than them. One of them came to the subdivision at 5:45 to fire me. Unfortunately for her, buyers were in the subdivision and I was showing them around and getting their info, so she had to stand around and cool her heels till I was done, which I’m sure is not how she envisioned it. She told me to leave and never come back and not to work the month’s notice. I remained calm and showed her all of the client files and notes, and where I had kept things. She was forced to stand there and say “thank you.” I felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders as I breezed out the door…and after working 7 days a week all summer and six days a week the past 3 weeks, I am OFF TOMORROW!!! I work for Lancome Thursday and Friday and am OFF ON SATURDAY!!! Also, at today’s team meeting I won tickets to see REO Speedwagon at Chastain on Saturday, and instead of rushing there after leaving the subdivision at 6, I will have all afternoon to prepare! WOOHOO!!!

Though I know that Sharon in Austell knows what Chastain is, I’ll explain to the rest of you. It is an outdoor ampitheater with extra wide aisles. People bring picnic baskets and small tables, candle, wine, food, etc and set it up right in front of them in the aisle while watching the concert. It is AWESOME. I can never afford to go…my buisness card was pulled from the bowl to win, because God knew what was ahead of me in the day and that I would need it!!! GOD IS AWESOME!

And good for you, Catwoman!! At least you made a tasteful exit, which is more than you can say for the other women. When you meet with the broker, will you be able to get the commissions that you deserve? Why did these women have the right to say “Leave now and don’t come back”? Doesn’t the broker have sayso on that?

Way to go, Catwoman! It sounds like you handled yourself, and the situation, with dignity and respect (unlike the others). Hold your head up high, girlfriend! Good for you in going to the broker. So, it looks promising that you’ll get the $2800.00? Enjoy the concert and know that you remain in all of the TDKer’s prayers. God is good!
