    Hi Madcatwoman…if you’re off to Egypt and you need some reading material, have you read the Amelia Peabody series by Elizabeth Peters? Mysteries re Eqypt and archeology late 19th c + early 20th c. Very entertaining!

    Thanks for the recommendation Linda – not heard of those. I have a stack of about 10 books bought but not yet read which I shall have to decide between to take – I’d take (and probably read) them all, but couldn’t afford the excess baggage!! The only time I can properly unwind and read a whole book these days is on holiday – me/pool/sunshine/book (and husband? – yeah, OK!) = perfect holiday!!

    I spent mine with 58, 7th, 8th and 9th graders! It was great!! Other than catching a bad cold stayed home from work today and if I still feel this crappy in the Am. I’m not going again!!!
