night shift 9/23

I know Bobbi does not have internet at home and she will be back tomorrow night with us she said. Maybe everyone is just busy or whatever. Glad you two are here at least. 🙂 Did you see my post about how far it is from you to me?

Yes, I do have to work tomorrow, one last day till I get some relief. I have not made any music. Too much to do. Right now I am stressing over my brand new(maybe 1 yr old) lawnmower…. It ran out of oil while running, and I hope I did not ruin the engine. In all my days alive I have NEVER, EVER had a mower run out of oil?? Also, the internet bill came in yesterday and is high. I about flipped. I know I have to pay for a new modem, around $50 and the letter said they upgraded me for the same price. There is a service charge…. or something. I am stressing over that as well, as other concerned issues before all that happened. 🙁

Hi Lynn, Catwoman and Bumblebee- I’m here. And I noticed the same thing you did, Lynn, as I checked in last night. There was no “Night Shift”. Like you said, everyone must have been out doing something. Guess other people out there have a life, huh? Not saying you don’t, I’m saying I don’t! (LOL)

I have had a pretty rotten week, too. The secretarial job didn’t come through, I found out my brother has Hepatitis C and has to have a biopsy on October 11, the day we were supposed to leave for Virginia to attend my sister’s wedding. And my poor sister was dragged back into court by her ex again-seems he wants full custody of my nephew (not for love or anything, but for the child support he THINKS he’s going to get). This has already gone through the Family Courts and joint custody was awarded. He has petitioned a higher court to hear the case. Well, my sister and her attorney had NO idea this was happening, so her attorney asked to have the case postponed until he could review it. Now they (my sister and her new husband-to-be) have to go to court again the day after they get home from their honeymoon. Her ex is the biggest JERK I have ever run into in my life!!!!!

Hi, M&MM. If it is any consolation, a very good friend of mine was diagnosed with Hep C almost 15 years ago. She went on to marry, have children, etc and is in great health.

Catwoman, how is Wolfie doing? Is he back to his normal self? I hope you told him how much worry he caused his mama-and all of us, too!

Wolfie is still staying upstairs mostly, but he seems his old self with head butts and meowing in his high little voice for his treats! After the scare of the other night he is sporting a new collar. That won’t ward off the coyote but at least someone could see that he was not a stray. He is also microchipped. I’ve had cats disappear in the past, never to be seen again, so all of mine are microchipped.

Okay, excuse my ignorance…where exactly does one check for the oil on the lawnmower?

I have some days off then and will have relief for my back. Cashiering is very hard on my back and aggrivates it each day. I had a fall in the freezer a couple years ago at a different job, and I’m beginning to think this pain is from that injury.

I will call and ask about the internet bill tomorrow. Just stressing until then and wondering how I can come up with all that money?? Life constantly reminds me that I can afford nothing.

I don’t even know what type of oil the mower takes. My nephew says straight 30. I got a bottle, but am afraid to use it until I call Sears tomorrow and find out for sure what type to use. I cannot find the paperwork on the mower. I am very unorganized with some of my stuff right now.
