No Karin, didn’t play football, wish I could have! Just played with the boys growing up. My concussions came from car accidents, clumsiness, and fights. Dr told me if I have one more, it could kill me. My brain has been banged around in my skull so bad, that the next one could kill. So, since I am older and my younger days are behind me, the fights are out of the picture. Accidents by car, pray to God, it won’t happen. Clumsiness is still one of my “would not like to admit” qualities, but some of that has come from the concussions. I try to be careful and not act like a bull in a china shop going nowhere!! Thanks for asking and the concern. Love Lynn

๐Ÿ™‚ I left the 2 kittens at the fair, and took a puppy to the soccer park. He had on a little jacket that said “ADOPT ME”, I got a few inquiries, and even exchange phone #s with someone looking for a puppy. I hope it works out, may borrow puppies for a weekend more often if it works out.

Hey MerD, good to see you !!

BB, do you eat bananas? I know, dumb question. Found out when Kay was getting severe leg cramps that eating bananas stoppped them. Seems like bananas are high in postassium and leg cramps are many times caused by this loss. Just a thought. Love, Lynn

I get leg cramps at night, but I have always thought it was due to dehydration. I try to drink more water before I go to bed. Some times it helps, but not always. I will have to try the bannana thing.

I just found that out too, Lynn. I had the worst leg cramp a week or so ago and I mentioned it to one of the doctors who I support and he informed me to eat a banana or drink something with high electrolytes in them.

This sweet young man I work with, is so sweet. Lwter, when I told him about the nasty customer, he said he would have punched her for me, anything for you… he said. This kid is between parents, mom’s house, dad’s house, no house, friend’s house. He is so sweet and caring, it just breaks my heart. Once in the break room he shared some of his problems with me, and I gave him a hug. He says I am his best friend. Today he gave me a hug cause he felt sorry for me cause of that customer. I am not used to being yelled at by customers as most just adore me and say I am the sweetest one there.

Don’t be sorry, Bumblebee, I am watched by my dr. and Kay know’s since she has been with me for many of them, what to look out for. Older I get the more I slow down, guess it’s good in that way. Do miss the old day’s though! Just don’t want to get hurt anymore! thanks for the concern, Love Lynn

A nice warm bath will do you wonders, Bumblebee. I only have a stall shower in my bathroom but hope to have a bathtub when I find a new place to live.

I have a bathtub so big I can lay down in it. Takes ALOT of water, but feels so good. I don’t use it very often because I hate cleaning it out first, but I am due for a soak. maybe tomorrow.

Karin, I’ll be careful, baby, thanks! I recommend the bananas for leg cramps or cramps in the body. Let me know if it works, does here and for many other people I told. Dr. Gott, if anyone knows him, he has a column in, I think, many papers, that’s where we got it. Dehydration, is another cause also, I’ve read, so drink up and eat like a monkey! Soon you’ll be swinging from the trees! Just watch your head!!!!!!! Love Lynn

Thanks Lynn for the suggestion about bananas. Yes, I do eat them every day. I thought it was magnesium deficiency that causes leg cramps. I know mine are from my back. If I rub those two spots on either side of the lower back, my legs feel better. It is poor circulation I think. I need to go to the chiropractor, but no funds for that right now.
