    HI everybody!! I promises treats….

I brought hubby’s famous chocolate chip cookies, chocolates (Godiva of course) and gummy bears for those who want a taste of childhood. Enjoy!

Ooooooooh yum, thank you! Swap you for some left over champagne (we’ve been cyber celebrating England’s win in the rugby if you haven’t read that thread!)

Funny that, I only tried asparagus for the first time a few weeks back, and quite liked it! Saw you were rooting for us Moonshadow, thank you!

My husband just checked our TV listings. We can watch the championship game in the Rugby World Cup for a mere $30.00. Ouch!

Oh and forgot, is anybody able to help Elaine in Oregon with her situation of moving into the assisted home and finding places for her kitties?

I’m just hanging about, fairly wide awake, waiting to see if dozing husband will zombify completely, or be persuaded to go to bed properly at some stage…and watching a countdown of the 100 best stand up comedians, most of whom aren’t very funny!!

MCW, when it comes down to it who else can we root for, the French who put us out? I don’t think so and I would support England anyway.Got newly discovered family there.

One Popoki found & posted the list of no kill shelters Azdeb, so hopefully Elaine will get some help throught that.

I live two hours away from Elaine, but I am not taking in any more kitties–husband would not be pleased. I saw the suggestions made to Elaine under her thread and I can’t think of any other options for her. It is so tough on folks who must move to living situations that don’t accept cats. I hope the assisted living facility she is moving to will let her bring one of her cats, but how does one choose among one’s children?

Almost noon here on a sunny/showery day with thunder storms forecast and winds up to 120kmph expected. Ah spring weather, you never know just what you’ll get.

Perfect Fall day here. Blue sky, lovely leaves on trees with temperature in the high 60s (farenheit). Spent part of the afternoon with son and his significant other. They just moved in together. A big step for them.

Hampshire? My old stamping ground, and still the home of MCW’sBro!

We’re having a very colourful autumn here KW, beautiful leaf colours, something to do withhow mild it still is I believe. I tried to take some pictures of Pickle today, she was beautifully framed by red and gold leavs, but the little so and so just would NOT stay still long enough!

Aaah, the Kraken Wakes – time to head for bed, good night folks, have a good rest of the day wherever you are!

I know what you mean, MCW, about the camera shyness of cats. They pose adorably when the camera is out of reach and don’t cooperate when it is in hand. LOL

    Goodnight, MCW. Sleep well. xx

Well I must go now, I promised to take my Mum on a dangerous mission, visit a garden centre. For us it’s dangerous because we end up coming home with more plants then we have garden for. We have had to make a pact to stop each other buying too much and even taking unnecessary visits to garden centres. We could try leaving our purses behind but somehow we seem to find money in our pockets,”I don’t know how that got there, really”. Good nightshifting.
