    I’m looking forward to the weekend, but have to get through Friday first – that’s when I meet some top bods at the hospital that made such a botch up (see, I can be polite when I try) of Mum’s treatment & discharge earlier this year. They had a 3.5 page letter of complaint from me, and have offered this meeting as step one of reconcilliation…me, I’m just trying to work out what clothes I’ve got to fake the high powered business woman doesn’t take any nonsense persona I want to put forward (figured jeans & a t-shirt -with or without chocolate down the front!! – wouldn’t quite cut it…)

    The patient is driving me crazy!! He’s bored!! I have played several card games with him watched a movie(I fell asleep during it) played trouble and also the wii with him and now he’s telling me he’s bored!!! AHHHHHHHH!!

    LOL Dorie … I think that’s why my parents felt lucky that I loved to read, do little crafty things, and was basically brought up to entertain myself since I was the youngest of 5 but grew up as the only “child” in the household for the most part! Glad your son is doing better though!

    MCW show some cleavage while you’re at it to get your way 😉 hahahah!!

    Dorie is correct. A red blouse with tailored black pants or a simple black skirt is the way to go. If you don’t own any red, just black and white is strong and straightforward and no-nonsense.

    I look like a tart in red Dorie 😉 Favourite at the mo is smart trousers, (brown or charcoal grey), high-heeled shoes (I need the height too!!), and a classic style jumper, with simple jewellry. Chris is coming with me, he was shocked when I told him he’d have to wear a shirt and tie!! I’m getting my hair cut tomorrow, so hopefully it will behave on the day. Half a can of spray should help! Oh, and make up. Don’t usually bother with much during the day, but my Wall Street alter ego probably would, ha ha!

    I forgot to say we also did 2 books of I spy!! He is an avid reader. But being on the meds he can’t read he’s too shakey. Right now him and my 25 year old son are fighting like two 12 yr olds!!! AHHHHHHHHHH

    Why do I have to be the MOM??

    I vote for grey then, brown is classified as a nature-loving wishy-washy colour to those who follow stuff like this. 🙂

    Oh boy, Dorie, I could just see that going on!

    See my mom was the lucky one who worked full time … my dad’s the one who had to put up with me whenever I did happen to get antsy … like when I had the chicken pox at the beginning of summer vacation!

    I didn’t own much red either until my friend told me this and I was job hunting, So she bought me a red shirt for an interview. I got the job! So I now have several red shirts and they are worn when I need them! I’m not crazy about red either!! I feel like a tomato!!

    Dorie – find something really unsuitable on TV, that’ll quieten him down 😉
