I just got my order of two dozen baby chicks today (I was expecting them tomorrow, but they were hatched last night and shipped immediately via the U.S. Postal Service). I also got a free chick with my order, and I intend to keep her. If it wouldn’t be too offensive to anyone, I’d like to name her Terri Renee.

I was just outside with my boys and we had a visit from a new duck mama and 10 little ducklings!

    There’s a movie coming soon 🙂

Please send a photo of the chickie Terri Renee

Oh, GD, can’t wait to see.

Sadly my duckies this yr lived less than 24hrs. With coyotes, crows etc, there are way too many hazard around here.

A baby named Terri Renee – so, so sweet! And who could not love a baby chick? Something soft, fluffy and warm to love.

Karenopa, Cleveland will only allow residents to possess 1 chicken, duck, or rabbit per 800 square feet of property. Since most of the residential lots are 40′ by 120′ (4800 square feet), that sets a limit of six birds and/or rabbits for most people. The hatchery from which we got the babies has a 25-chick minimum order, so we’re trying to decide which birds to keep and which birds to sell/give away.
