I have an almost two week old baby that I’ve been bottle feeding for the past 5 days on liquid KMR and he’s been doing great. Weight gains and opened his eyes a few days ago. He has a great appetite too. I just switched him over to powder formula and did the 1:2 ratio that was directed on the can. He still urinates after every feeding but hasn’t pooped besides super small amounts since the switch over about 24 hours ago. Should I worry? He seems to be acting normal still but I just want a little advice on whether I should keep him on powder or switch him back to liquid I guess. Thanks!

    Hi Ali,

Thanks for taking care of your wee boy. Instead of KMR, start feeding him Goats’ milk. Many TDKers swear by it as it easier on their tummies and doesn’t give them constipation. You can find it in the baking aisle or refrigerated section. It’s less expensive, too. You can give him a bit of olive or salmon oil to help him poop.

I hope this helps and don’t hesitate to contact us if you have further questions, comments.
