I noticed in this week’s Target sale paper that a new Jean Auel book ( Land of Painted Caves )would be available this Tuesday. I didn’t know that there was going to be another one after ( Shelter of Stones )and I am looking foward to getting it . I think that I remember several people also enjoyed that series of books so I thought that I would mention it.

I saw the book in a shop today Ron, it’s big. This last book was going to take 5 years to hit the stands but has taken quite a bit longer. I hope it comes out in paperback soon. Can barely wait to read it and neither can Mr MS. We have both really enjoyed the series.

Thanks for mentioning it so others will know it is out now.

I just remembered to check the price at Hastings and they are listing it in thier paper for $15:00 ,about 5 cheaper than Target’s price.

There wasn’t any price on the book I saw but previous books in the series were $28. Books in NZ are very expensive, they claim the shipping cost are the fault but that’s just an excuse.

Book going well. Had to stop for a bit to feed Molly! May have to take a nap too before I get back to it. 714 pages! Oy! Chey, doesn’t an audio version come out at the same time? Or, get it in a downloadable form to your pc (barnes and noble pcbook) Then you can change the font size to a larger one?

audio books come out whenever the library for the blind in Canada decides to do the book. Also they still have books that have been out for years and havn’t read yet.

Jean Auel is one of my favorite authors EVER!! I’m so happy to hear she’s released another book….even if I can’t afford to buy it~lol. I really look forward to reading it someday! =)

My Mom and I were reading her books and actually got to hear her speak years ago. I was lent Shelter of Stones but haven’t read it. Guess I need to re-read the series as it has been more than five years since I read them and I have forgotten a lot.

I was just talking about Jean Auel the other day to my 13 yr old who loves to read! I just got her into the Xanth novels aftet considerable coaxing! I had not read any of her books in like forever. I will have to go back and get them all again to see what I missed. I love reading books over!

I know that if you had the Kindle that you can download books and they can be read back to you, if that is something that you are interested in.
