Ryan, your English is great. What are you feeding her on? When kittens are just on milk, they sometimes poop every second day, and her tummy may have been empty when you found her. These videos are great for giving you all the basics on how to look after your kitty. If she is only three weeks old and still on milk, you will have to help her to poop by gently rubbing her bottom with a circular motion with a damp cloth. Here are the videos, anyway, and if you have any more questions, please come and ask.

Also, if you click on the pink tag ‘orphans’ and ‘constipation’, you will find lots of information on bringing up kittens.

A very useful thread on constipation: http://dailykitten.com/chat/topic/chaos-guide-to-constipation/

    HI Ryan,

Welcome and thanks for rescuing the wee kitten. You will read that many TDKers swear by Goats’ milk. It’s gentler on the tummy and gives your kitten some probiotics. It usually helps with constipation.

Do keep in touch and let us how you and your kitten are getting along.

So I surfed through the Internet and checked about cat age and I made sure it turns out she’s about 6-7 weeks not for (sorry for that)
I weighed her and shes 1.4 pounds I been feeding her cats foos (canned) and some cow milk she also drinks water……… she still haven’t pooped but she did pee… she’s very hyper, she runs and jumps alot and btw the simulation doesn’t work I’ve tried it several times and most of the time she gets grumpy she doesn’t like it and thats it… it’s been approximately 26 hours since I found her and she hasn’t pooped yet her stomach looks full and bloated though.

    Hi Ryan,

Contrary to what we’ve been told, cow’s milk is not good for kittens/cats. It also gives them constipation. If you can’t find Goat milk just give her the cat food. You can give her a bit olive or fish oil to help her poop. Olive oil is OK for cats.

Sounds like she is on the right track with water and canned food and lots of love from you!
