I feel ya, I’m not a big fan of generic names. If there is a litter of kittens, I will pick a subject and name them that way. Case in point, one litter I named after Greek Gods, so there was Apollo, Aphrodite, Zeus, Athena and so on. On one occasion I named them after cars so there was Jeep, Dodge, Cougar, Barracuda, and Corvette. Of course once they were found homes I am sure they were renamed.

I like that you went with a universe theme for you cat kids.

Oh ya. Usually waited till eyes were open before naming. By then genitalia is easier to determine. Lived on a farm at the time so I unfortunately had a few batches of kittens to name.

Thats cool…i was always the name giver…every time my family got new pets they wuld ask me wat was a good name sometimes there was a theme to their name stuff that matched their personality for example if one was loud i’d name it noisy…etc i go by different themes at the time depended on personality but i decided different names for these 3 babies

We name our male kitties after rally Car racers Mikko, Sebastien, etc. Females are named after supermodels Claudia (RIP), Naomi etc…
