My mom called me this morning because her cat Dan has brought home, or found (not quite sure which) a kitten that he chased under one of my mom’s planters. She says it is a white and grey one. She wants me to take it, which Buster would absolutly love having another kitten to chase him….

I told her I would but she has to get it the shots cause I won’t be going to Austin till January. So I might be getting a new fuzzball.

Whaddya mean, might? Sounds like it’s a done deal to me! The kitten sounds really cute, we could have a TDK naming competition…! Looking forward to seeing pictures on catster 🙂

gotta find out if it belongs to one of the neighbors first before I can lay a claim to it. Not to mention that it is to scared to try and grab just yet, Dan is a large scary cat:-) and we still don’t know if it is a girl or boy, but I will keep ya posted. I will get my mom to get lots of pics that I can post.

Paula Jeanne – I’m not that organised! Tomorrow is operation Get Mother to Respite Care, THEN I can concentrate on getting myself sorted out! I work best on last minute panic adrenaline…!

I guess I also meant that in a tongue-in-cheek way! Are all your “systems” going!

Yup MCW…if I’m there for the good times, I’m there for the bad. However, I’m pretty fair too, so try and slather the sunscreen on!

    Update:

The kitten was able to escape from my mom and run off, but my mom keeps dry food outseide for her cats that hate being indoors (she even has one that when the bedroom windows are open he comes in and then demands to be let out the front door) So I think the kitten will be back at some point and she can try again. Hopefully Dan will not try to terrorize it, which is something he loves doing to anyone smaller than him (his absolute fav thing to do though is to go into the neighbors yard and steal chicks and bring them home for my mom)

Anyway I will let ya’ll know what happens.

susie, he brings them alive and cuddles them till my mom comes home looks at her and hits them so that she starts screaming and takes the chick from him. HE is very devious
