Hi all,
Now that I am finally getting act together time to drop by Café. Catching up, but my day has been one for the record. Nothing serious, just mainly frustrating, and I’ll laugh – later. Last night I killed my microwave by peeling off some of the door film – bad move. Tried to re-order same model, not possible in Canada and through US would have to pay big shipping costs and wait several weeks. So brought up my Plan B micro from storage and decided to order me a new Plan B micro, as this one was now as Plan A. Anyone still with me? So model does not exist and after hours of rsch finally ordered similar model which should arrive in a week or so, free shipping, no hurry anyway. Then had to carry broken one to trash, not fun, KJ not made for heavy duty lifting, stupid micro bigger than me LOL. OK, then got notice that a parcel that I was expecting should have arrived. Long story short yet again post person not only did not ring bell, but did not leave notice for pick-up. About an hour on phone with Canada Post, their fault, but that helps me how? Ultimately parcel will arrive at local post outlet, but post person filled out info all wrong and I might have to wait until Wed, as tomorrow is holiday here. Well I filed complaint against post person as they get paid quite nicely and just what does it take to ring a bell, Dorry could do it. So trying to chill out while waiting for post outlet to call me and let me know if by some miracle parcel arrived as huge line-ups due to holiday tomorrow. Thing is I want the stupid parcel, it’s 2 very pretty long camisole nightgowns and I just want them. I’m wiped, was one thing after another. Oh, there was also last night when couldn’t find small ball of yarn that I’d brought for my knitting lessons anywhere. Called friend, not at her place either. Took place apart, just as per Sat night! Called ER vet just in case to know what to look out for in case Dorry swallowed it. Major panic attack. Eventually had sense to check out a zippered small tote where realized I’d put it for safekeeping. Felt like a total fool, but joyous that Dorry had come to no harm.
Now will read back and see how everyone else’s day went!
