No problem KJ :)… I might be late to the party.. Have to drop my car off at the garage.. Beetle needs timing belt changed .. €310 bill πŸ™

And then my dad is bringing me home and then bringing me to the vet so his stitches can come out… The “suspected” seroma hasn’t gotten any bigger so my panic levels have reduces..I think the compression bandage I put on last night worked.. I’m hoping vet won’t need to drain it and the compression bandages are all that’s needed.. So he may have to wear his jumper for another week or two…

From what I’ve read as long as the area is red and hot (indicating infection), oozing or causing pain most vets recommend compression bangs des so the body can absorb the fluids in it’s own.. Fingers crossed now that’s all it is..

ok strange stuff ..put on a fresh compression bandage.. And thought huuumm maybe I should do that again I don’t want it to tight. And when I took it off the swelling that was directly under the incision had moved all the way to his stomach. It defiantly a seroma the fluid is in a pocket Under the skin and can move around.. I think the vet will tell me to just leave it alone

Well Noodle is perfectly fine stitches are out incision is perfectly healed.. Jumper is off and as suspected he has developed a seroma and vet says theres nothing to worry about ..It’s dangling on his stomach now looks funny but it will disappear in time..

Thank you all again for all the prayers and white light over the last few weeks !! I just know it’s helped Mr Noodle recover so fast

Oh, yay! So glad that there is no need to worry! Noodle, you are looking statuesque today!

Pajama party! How fun! Make yourselves at home. There are plenty of windows for kitties to look out. We’ll be making trips in and out with stuff…lots of stuff.

Awesome Noodle!! You look very sweet sitting there all stern, but I know better. Too bad you and Willow can’t get together and work out all this pent up kitten energy! Looking forward to fun sleepover ECB! Have to dig out my kittie jammies to be presentable. Don’t wear yourself out lifting and be careful of your back. No bending and twisting! KJ, yay for chocolate milk day, or just plain chocolate day or milk chocolate day..it’s all good to me!

    Morning all!
Yay for Noodle!!!!! Now that he is nekked can see his sleek black fur growing in will soon cover up incision. he’s getting bigger and bigger with every pic – purrhaps you can’t see it Buttons as you’re with him all the time, but this is GR8 too. Such a handsome guy!
As KZ advises ECB, don’t overdo it *KJ says from experience*. Think I might just borrow me a kitty onesie off CafΓ© shelf for party LOL. Dorry is coming nekked, says pj’s are for “wooses” or as also known “girl’s blouses” (loving that one Button’s). πŸ˜‰
And KZ glad you love chocolate. Realize pic with Basement Cat features bananas AND chocolate, hated by some TDKer’s (except for black kit, of course!) Not my fault. I am the mere handmaiden of “interesting” days of month calendar as themes for openings and today is, well Milk Chocolate Day. Why? No One knows. And I did check! πŸ˜‰

Hi KJ, Buttons, ECB & KZ! I love milk chocolate, chocolate milk, chocolate ice cream, you get the idea. Made brownies in the toaster oven yesterday – came out pretty good!
Yay, a housewarming party – this will be fun, thanks ECB!
I’m so glad Noodle is okay, he looks wonderful in the picture πŸ™‚

Almost party-purrfect. Just have to gather my stash of Seventeen magazines, big rollers/orange juice cans, huge jar of Dippity-Doo (which I still use LOL), and I’ll be good to go! πŸ™‚ Dorry will help you ECB, mainly by sitting on anything that you want to pack/unpack and generally getting in your way. πŸ˜‰

I have a love/hate relationship with chocolate milk. I love it and it hates me. I have an allergic reaction to some brands which gives me mouth ulcers πŸ™

LOL KJ, you took me back with the Dippity Do, oj cans and seventeen mags! Wow, I can’t believe we used to sleep on those things….hooray for flat irons, and why couldn’t we have those back then, along with blow dryers? Ain’t technology great?!
Oh sorry KM about the chocolate milk/ulcer thing…you suppose it’s preservatives? I love mocha, chocolate, coffee anything!

Here’s an interesting Celtic astrology guide, based on tree corresponding to date of birth:
    http://www.joe-ks.com/archives_mar2004/Celtic_Tree.htm#ixzz38lumdLdk
    I am:

Walnut Tree (Passion) – unrelenting, strange and full of contrasts, often egotistic, aggressive, noble, broad horizon, unexpected reactions, spontaneous, unlimited ambition, no flexibility, difficult and uncommon partner, not always liked but often admired, ingenious strategist, very jealous and passionate, no compromise.

In many ways surprisingly accurate (the nice ways), in others (the un-nice ways) not so much! LOL

Poplar Tree (Uncertainty) – looks very decorative, talented, not very self confident, extremely courageous if necessary, needs goodwill and pleasant surroundings, very choosy, often lonely, great animosity, great artistic nature, good organizer, tends to lean toward philosophy, reliable in any situation, takes partnership seriously.
Like you I was surprised by the accuracy, lol. I am a loner really, it’s just my nature, but I’m not lonely, I guess I’m comfortable in my own skin! I love stuff like this!

Morning all! …. KZ, I remember the OJ cans and dippity due ….. my long straight hair was below my waist, so trying to roll it was a nightmare …. besides, my friends that rolled their hair on oj cans were trying to straighten it! LOL ….. that and ironing it (this was WAY before flat irons or straightening wands) …..

…. I got an early jump on input today, and enjoyed a nice visit with Son last night ….. hopefully the rest of the day will also be productive! ….. good news on Noodle boy, I’m so glad πŸ™‚

He’s not been doing much woshing since he came back from the vet Jean.. But I’m refusing to worried I know it’s just my parinoia.. I hate that!

It almost seems like he feels sorry for himself which is odd cause he was fine straight after the surgery… Anyway I’m not gonna worry myself into a knot .. He’ll be just fine he’s only trying to scare me..

Maybe he misses his jumper ? πŸ™‚

I’ll be heading to pj party soon see ya then πŸ™‚

Buttons, you could always call vet if you are worried at all, that’s what I do, and they are surprisingly understanding.
AV, I was one of those desperately trying to straighten my hair, hrs with those big rollers and bonnet type hair dryer. And then it would get way humid or rain. πŸ™ Would not go back to teen years for the world – now peeps believe that I have naturally straight hair, and do looks equally good if I leave it as natural – yay for my hair stylist and my version of Nobel prize for whoever invented flat iron! LOL
    Celtic astrology is interesting!
