Good morning – good luck with the endoscopy, PG.
All of the pics are adorable – happy adoption day!
Service for 4 this morning. Three black cats and Mama Cat the tortie. Haven’t seen Munchkin since yesterday morning. Haven’t seen the light tortie either. I think they were used to Squeeker yelling and sounding the breakfast bell. The little black female is shy and doesn’t have a schedule for showing up. I fed her last night while literally shielding the others from her plate.
My heart is too heavy to go walking today.

Awwwww Joan, I hope Munchkin shows up today! …. you are so good to care for those kits, until something can be figured out to re-home them.

Just popping in briefly today hi today, busy day for me, lots to get done before we leave for the Vegas vacation 🙂

    Have a good Monday everyone!

No problem with the endoscopy – in fact I slept through it. I have acute esophagitis that is from reflux of stomach acid. They took a couple biopsies. I’m starting Omeprazole today. Unless they find something in the biopsy the meds. should do it.

I’m sure the girls will be so excited to be with their purr papa. Remember, AV-what happens in Las Vegas…

I know your heart is heavy, JJ. Your outdoor charges are waiting for you because they trust you. Their trust is the gift they give to you.

So glad your endoscopy went well PG. That doesn’t sound like fun, neither does your acid reflux. Hope the meds do the trick.
JJ, I’m sad for you. I know the heavy heart feeling. The losses seem to hurt more as I get older. ((hugs)) to you my friend.

Hey all – nice that you slept thru the endoscopy, PG. may the meds to their job to help you.
Brought Squeeker to my hometown animal shelter, rather than pay to have a vet cremate him. The $$ saved will go toward food for the living.
The light tortie, “Berta”, (short for Roberta) showed up when I got home. The 4th black cat, the little female, came by this morning for her meal as well. Still haven’t seen Munchin, though seeing Berta made me feel better as losing a cat and have another 2 go missing was unsettling.
Oh and someone left a mouse next to the crate that Squeeker was in overnight. I thought that was sweet.

Good that you slept through the procedure PG. That’s the way to do these unpleasant things. In fact when I have to undergo anything of an invasive nature I’m no hero – I ask for the “good” drugs, staff and I have a chuckle and agrees to put me out and I get through it while out cold and awaken with basically no memory of the thing having happened. Can’t drive after, but don’t know how to drive anyway. Blessings that meds solve the prob.

Afternoon all, it’s a hot sunny day today and I have spent the morning in the garden preparing the soil for plantings in a few days when we have rain forecast. I weeded and then topped up all the gardens and pots with our own beautiful black compost. I was happy to see my dwarf butter beans popping up through the layer of straw I had over them to keep the moisture in. We are in for a very hot dry Summer thanks to El Nino. 🙁
Joan, so sorry about Squeakers and how sweet that one of the cats left him a wee mouse for his journey over the Rainbow Bridge. 😥
    I hope Munchkin reappears soon.
PG, glad you slept through the procedure and I hope the meds help with the situation.

Off to make some lunch and hit the garden again.
PS, I wonder if someone can make sunscreen that doesn’t melt and run into your eyes.
    😕

I’m standing in line for wee kittah. MS.

Here’s some info on sunscreens –

PG, thanks for that link, it’s really interesting. Sadly the SPF isn’t high enough for a pale skin on a redhead in a country with a dodgy ozone overhead. I use about a SPF30 any higher and it burns my skin. Catch 22.
I have a grumpy cat, she is locked inside on a beautiful sunny day because we have just had some overgrown areas sprayed and she can’t be outside for several hours. Treats are helping a little though.

Ooohhh a grumpy cat MS – be afraid, be very afraid – or not, HRH loves you to much to carry a grudge for long. *hopefully* 😉
PG, I might just fight you for your place in line for that kitty!
OK guys, have to go out and take care of something and might not be back ’til very late so opening tomorrow’s Café.
    Ta all!
