Well when I say work it’s kinda voluntary work.. It’s in a vintage clothes shop..

The charity organisation is a very popular one in Ireland and they sometimes even give college grants to their employees.. The contest is only for a year but it will help me adjust to working outside home again and I won’t be so she’ll shocked when I get full time work ..

As if going to the vet wasn’t difficult enough, I had to drive all the way down the mountain and partway back up because 1 of the 2 main roads was closed.
I never bag a stool sample at home because Leela always provides one, which she did, and more. She also spontaneously shed as well as whined and growled. She weighed in at 10 pounds, finally putting on some of the weight she lost when she was sick.
Comet was sweet as pie and made everyone tell him how handsome he is. He weighs 16 pounds.

LOL Joan on diva kit vet fun/NOT vs Comet’s opposite reaction!
Aw, at least that part of the day’s fun is finished for all/meowmy included!
Hmm, must be almost 3pm in Joisey…Happy Hour is now a reality in TDK Land!
Fountains are flowing…tall cool bevies for Summer sippin’ pleasure.
Nice warm soothing treats for those in Southern Hemisphere…if not still sleeping! 😉
Me, grabbing an iced java w/sprig o’mint & back I go until dentist fun…

Think I will go for a swipe from the fountain. The kits are sleeping it off, Comet no doubt dreaming of his awesomeness and charm. Leela has pretty much decompressed and after a bite to eat, is sleeping peacefully.
Didn’t get a chance to mention Mac, who barely let me touch him – I must stink of vet!

LOL @ the ‘stink’ of VET …. too bad you don’t have a mobile one in your area ….. it really made the girls’ exams much less stressful!

….. been a busy Monday, just popping in to see what’s going on …. I’ll join your with a fountain swipe soon!

Hope backache is better as in gone ECB.
Think I will go for a jump in the pool, as “heat-warning” hot here for susceptible peeps. Joan, will buy you a drink(s), sounds like you could use some after vet visit and Miss Leela “providing” samples as required – not fun!
Pussigato, it’s actually me as KJ who needs to “get a life”. Certain our KZ has a life LOL. Easy to get initials mixed up, as long as my name gets spelled correctly on cheques it’s all good LOL.
My friend/”Hazel” just brought over 2 huge cushions she made for me from $Store bandanas. Will post pic probably. Amazing what one can make for so very little. Believe they would sell for way more than say the $5 spent (includes stuffing).
Buttons, how you get Noodle to wear jumper is beyond my talents/skills. If I were to attempt to dress Dorry I would be shy of several much-needed fingers LOL. Hoping he doesn’t decide to try his newly-acquired hunting skills as kill bite on my fingers/toes!

Buttons, forgot to wish you good luck with new endeavor as working in vintage clothes shop. Sounds like you’ll have fun as you have good sense of style and enjoy putting things together. I worked in dept store all through uni as part-time job and loved when they sent me to fashion, accessories or jewellry dept. Ended up leading to first full-time job in their ad dept as copywriter. Rest is history, so you never know what can lead to what!

Lounging at the TDK pool sipping on a tall one. Tennis elbow making me crazy so I’m icing it now. Probably didn’t help to be hauling 2 cat carriers around!
Did a bit of yard work, but despite using repellant, got chewed up in minutes.
Living in the woods is great but the ‘skeeters are dreadful!

The things we do for our furries, Joan! And how very much they appreciate it – not! Hope the tried-and-true ice helps, says she who always has ice pack at the ready for myriad aches.
Now where did I put my bottle of “Idiot Repellent”? Tomorrow’s 7 am spin class cancelled as reg instructor on vaca and co-ordinator “only” had 3 wks to find replacement. And didn’t find anyone in the entire city. Excuse is she just got back from own vaca. So what about her replacement? I would so like to get paid to do just about nothing. Well, this should be my worst problem, and will do own class and not have to get up at 04:45 hundred hrs LOL. But lots of peeps do class before going to work and they will arrive tomorrow to find a class cancelled sign. I did call peeps whose last names I know and word might get out. All I can do. But this will not go down well, as peeps pay like $800+/yr for membership.

Too quiet in Café, just what could those staff kitties be up to???
Anyway here is pic of homemade cushion, same style sells for $100-$125 online. Other cushion is bright yellow, 2 more to come in bright orange. Bkgd as x-stitch hummie cushion and “Summer” upholstery as king-size plaid bedspread tucked in all around. Every season gets complete decor change fabric/carpet wise.

Cool cushion KJ. That stinks about the class especially those who pay in advance and work it into their busy schedules.

Oh they are lovely cushions KJ!! Sorry about the spin class! Gosh of your paying $800+ you should get what ya pay for!! Kinda numb about the whole job thing but I think it could lead to bigger things.. It gets me used to the work place again 🙂

Joan sorry you got are alive! Where was your SSS!! That keeps everything away… Hope Leela & comet got a clean bill of health! Shame about the Detour..

Noodle was extra hyper tonight he chewed up his jumper so on went another one … That’s two costume changes in a day! He’s feeling his inner cheetah here 🙂

MS wanders slowly into the Cafe wearing a face mask, keep your distance as I have a nasty something, maybe a cold just don’t know what yet but the cough is awful. HRH Shadz kept me company overnight. Mr MS also has a bug, slightly different to mine so we slept apart so as not to cross infect each other. We coughed and barked like dogs all night though.
Buttons, a one pawed massage will do nicely so Mr Noodles can pop through the wormhole whenever he wants but I will warn him to wear a warm jersey as there is snow on the ranges around my city, that doesn’t happen very often.
Oh Joan, still a mouse loose in the house, Shadz will pop over and give Comet a hand catching the pesky critter. At the moment she is doing her ‘reptile’ act on the balcony and warming herself up, not that she got cold overnight as she tucked down in the bed with me, something I discovered when I woke up.
Deb, sorry about your brother’s problems and I hope that this hospital can offer him more help. Sending White Light for you all.
Sorry I haven’t read all the Cafe posts as I can’t concentrate this morning but I’m heading out to the TDK patio with a drink I probably won’t taste and doing my own ‘reptile’ act.

Hey MS 🙂 yes Noodle has his extra warm Cheetah print coat on so he’ll rush through while he’s still full of energy! He was hopping off the walls earlier!

How HRH and you get fully charged by the sun and don’t worry about spreading your bug the Wormhole has it’s very own germ filter 😆 hope Mr MS feels better too.. We always seem to have to baby them when they’re sick even though we’re sick at the same time 🙂

    Hey MS,
Hope respective bugs leave you and Mr. MS soon! In the meantime:

Buttons, I see a future for you in designing kit clothing line. Noodle rocks cheetah look very handsomely! Yeah, men feeling “under the weather” reminds me of time when I was still married to ex-Mr. KJ and came home to find fridge all but entirely stocked with yogurt. Why? Well he had wisdom tooth extracted ergo regarded himself as invalid needing soft diet for duration. KJ on the other hand had same procedure and went back to work, until stupid thing started bleeding profusely and had to get stitches put in without freezing! Result? New dentist! But still!

Thank goodness Mr MS isn’t a ‘man flu’ type, he just wraps up very warm and sweats it out. He’s working in a very cold area today so I’m hoping her is keeping out of the freezing wind.
Oh as for where was I when the first moon landing happened, I was in a double math lesson and we were allowed to stop the lesson and listen to it on the radio system. The best ever double math lesson ever. 🙂
Thanks for that KJ. I hope the bugs don’t linger too. Bugs in Winter are horrible.

At moon landing we were in country “shack” (hated place LOL) with cousin visiting from California. We watched the thing on dinky B/W TV, not sure it made that much of an impression on us.
