    It’s National Junk Food Day, an opportunity to eat whatever you like and as much of it as you like. And an opportunity for our furries to do likewise as treats. What works best for you? It’s all good.

    Lol at kit kat lasagna. Well, they would layer well.

    Interesting discovery….the cats seem to have given up their habit of meowing for breakfast while the hubby was feeding them last week. I think it is because he uses an alarm to wake up and I don’t since I’m a morning person. I think they know when the crickets chirp on his cell phone (his alarm setting) they get breakfast…no need to meow. This could be the difference between waking at 4:30 and waking at 6 am if they can keep up the new habit. Though meow free, there was some stirring that woke me up at 4:30 today. Leo was grooming Eko, which almost always leads to wrestling. :).

    Morning KJ & ECB. Loving the junk food theme – kit kat lasagna, really?? *orders up a very big glass of milk*
    Lots of hubbub from the boy last night, but I think he may have lost the mouse (eek!). Hope he gets it tonight.
    Deb, I read about your brother going to the hospital on the other thread. I sure hope he gets the treatment he needs and can get comfortable.

    Morning all!
    First, blessings Deb that Danny can be made more comfortable.
    Joan, and why not Kit. Kat. Lasagna. They make floats entirely out of flowers as Tournament of Roses Parade! LOL. Dorry volunteers to help Comet in mice-catching endeavor. I know, not really all that funny 🙁 . But just for fun I arranged his wet food and noms in mouse shape (sorta) this am. OK, you had to be there, and I need to “get a life”.
    Anyone recall where they were when man first walked on the moon? 45 yrs ago. Some of us might not have been on Earth as yet, but I’m past legal age. 😉

    Joan, hope that vet visit goes relatively stress free.
    Stinkin’ hot here, later 95 degrees, by Wed. 99 degrees – high heat/humidity. And some peeps think Canada = Winter 365 days/yr. LOL

    Awwwww!!!! Tisket, tasket come on out of your basket as Miss Nutini and Noodle in kitty play mode. :mrgreen:
    That’s a LOT of chocolate JK. Just perusing pic gives me xtra energy boost as heading off to gym for spin class. BTW have been told that good post-intense wkt bev is chocolate milk, not immediately after, like within 20 minutes.

    Hi Nirmal, Buttons and JK.
    I remember the moon landing. It was the only time dad packed the tv for the family vacay down the shore.
    Being a junk food junkie the lasagna sounds great – that chocolate from WI looks good too.
    So glad our Mr. Noodle is continuing to do well. It is inspiring how well animals cope and adapt. Love that pic of him asking Nutini to come out and play. 🙂
    Dorry is more than welcome to koi the mouse hunt – Comet can show him how a true game of cat and mouse is played.

    LOL…fat kit w/hoomin’ junk food mascot cracks me up but really sad…time to put kit on weight mgmt. Think I’ll post that on my fridge & share w/kits every time they want nomz!

    BTW outdoor crew update: Newbie tuxie kitten spotted! Said there were 4 kits from Gabby’s litter. Only 3 were accounted. Well #4 Tuxie was
    around Friday/dusk & yest caught napping I hidey hole. Just meant to check it yest after work…startled it & off it ran…but…it’s back!
    (Otto was around too, not sure if he was trying to alert me…hung around ’til I found kit in shelter!)
    OK, heading out to patio in a bit…short lunch for leaving earlier for dental fun. Paid up my crown $ so now it’s 6 mo check up time… gotta
    keep those whites pearly I guess…Hey Tux…let’s hit the patio…NOW!
