Many of us are fascinated with searching out our ancestry. Why not cats? Instead of going about their usual café duties the crew is going through tome after tome looking up their pedigree. Not surprisingly most have *confirmed* their top-cat lineage via a prowl through “Debrett’s Purrage & Purronettage”. One kit has even traced his ancestry back to the Dawn of Civilization. Looks just like our own kitties – only different! No worries – we won’t have to hunt down our eats – Chef Kitty and Tuxie (who has just discovered renowned purrsonages in his family climbing tree) have managed to wrangle the crew, coffee’s on and breakfast well be served once we decide on our orders.

Hi Deb, just looking at a huge full moon at the moment. I don’t think it is going to affect my sleep tonight, I am so tired I can barely keep my eyes open. I just had to pop into the Cafe and grab a danish and hot chocolate before heading for bed.

Evening, KJ, Deb and MS, I am just here for the duration of a cuppa coffee, trying to get an early night tonight too, MS. Love those handsome kitties in their beautiful old costumes. Millie got a big splodge of whipped cream tonight, she does so love it and gets it all over her, especially her little black velvet nose (but she doesn’t get it very often as it’s so bad for us both, lol).

Libs would have got some too, I hasten to add, if she weren’t outside gallivanting in the warmishness.

I wish I had an apricot Danish, she said, plaintively… I may have to visit the French cafe tomorrow, for the first time in weeks…

There’s nothing better than having a brand new book to read that you’re really looking forward to opening, Deb, unless it’s having that book with a cuppa and a Danish beside you too… That moon sounds nice. It is warmish and wettish here today, I believe MS might have had thunderstorms…

I would have liked thunderstorms, guess my daughter had hail off and on in Chicago today…luckily she wasn’t near the tornadoes that did damage today.

This book should be a short read, it’s on the street cat named Bob in England 🙂

Off to bed, nighty-night, Deb, sleep well and sweet dreams when you get home and scritches to the crew. Catch you on the flip side, everyone!

I’m glad she wasn’t near the tornadoes, Deb, I hope all of our TDKers are safe. You’ll have to let me know what you think of the book and Bob the street cat 🙂 Nighty-night!

Morning KJ & Deb, nighty-night Jcat. Love the pics! I think Leela can easily trace her roots back to royalty, then again, probably most of our kitties can!

It was a dark and stormy night and now the sun is out. Nothing like they saw in the midwest yesterday.
