Can’t stay long, have to run up to get our taxes–they are done already even though we had our appointment on Friday! Maybe I’ll wrangle a lunch out of this deal! 😆

Morning,

Well on a ‘puteresque day I did a ‘puteresque thing. My cell phone needed a new battery. But when I called my ISP worked out that it would be simpler/less expensive over the long term to upgrade which brings me a new phone, more minutes and purrhaps more bells and whistles. Just have to go to store to p/u. And get someone to walk me through the functions. My phone is 5 yrs old so it’s not a bad plan. Might have to manually transfer all my contacts, but not a biggie. And I’m not one of those peeps dependent on my phone for my very existence. 🙄 And no kits were needed to help me out – as yet! 😉

Now off to gym for DIY spin class, but glad that I got this taken care of as a battery that drains when the phone is shut off is not fun.

Back again, and looks like we will be farming for another year. That’s good news. Sun is shining, although it’s chilly, but the snow is melting and SLICK!

KJ, fun to get a new phone. I think they make them purposely go dead after a while and make you feel bad if you don’t upgrade once a year! I’m not going to do it, even though I love new electronics. I AM in the market for a new laptop though, as my old one still has Vista on it and Microsoft doesn’t even support it anymore. It’s been a good laptop, excellent really, I hope I can find another one just as good with as few problems as that one had. It’s so slllloooooowwwwwww, that it drives me batty to use it!

Someone cleaned this puter completely.

Another humid and wet day here. I woke every hour last night because of the humidity. HRH spent the night inside in front of the fan.
Yay KZ you can farm again for the next year ! Bonus. Good luck choosing a laptop KZ, so many to choose from. Trying not to thin about the ‘T’ word, it will be our first ‘T’ year for our business.
KJ, have fun choosing a phone that suits you from the thousands of styles, brands etc out there.
Thankfully my techspert is Airy who knows about technology stuff and advises me on which models,brands would suit me and my needs and then we go shopping and trying them out before purchasing.

I managed to dehydrate 3lb of tomatoes lastnight, while turning the house into a sauna. I have another couple of pounds dehydrating today.

MS, ROTFL @ “Someday my prints will come.” Looks like thesis was deleted by both of us. 😉

With my plan no choice of phones, ‘cept between iPhone and Android. Chose the latter as I’m already more or less comfortable with how they work. Plan to pick it up Thurs. as I’ll be in area where there’s phone co. store and the guy on phone sounded nice, ie he’ll help me get set up. Prob have to re-enter all contacts and might lose pics although there might be a way to copy them over. Not earth-shattering by any means.

Tomorrow have dentist appt for filling several small cracks in one go. He prob won’t want to freeze, and I’ll prob insist on it. Wish that he could freeze my still sore glute muscle.

A bit hard walking today as sidewalks were in some areas frozen over. Cleats def help.

PG, got heads-up that first Coursera course has begun – Magic in the Middle Ages. Didn’t start as yet as I am in midst of pompom festooned hat #3. Plan to knit up 2 more and that’s it for leftover yarn in right amount.

Hope that the assignment is not too diff for me. I do have a college degree but I did not work all that hard as most of my classes were theatre-related, ie no exams, purrformance based. Hope that I don’t get a detention. 🙄

KJ, this humidity is affecting my brain. I checked all the pics to make sure no double ups but . . . 🙄
Good choice of phone type if you are already familiar with one kind it’s best to stay with that.
Tonga was hit hard by Tropical cyclone Gita last night and now we wait to see where it goes now, looks like it is heading towards Fiji for now. We appear to be set to get more hot humid tropical air funneling down our way and quite possibly bad weather from Gita if she heads our way.
